05 ☣ TEXT & VOICE;

Looking to gather some info. Please respond with succinct list of what you would consider unalterable laws of reality in your home dimension, e.g. gravity, conservation of mass, particular laws of magic.

Will attempt to compile results into meaningful commonalities across dimensions. Maybe there's a universal law somewhere.

Would prefer text response if possible. Thanks.

Finally got fed up with everyone talking over my head and made a trade to see my future.

[A beat.

In utter, dry exasperation,]
You're all nuts. What kind of teamwork was that?

[ooc: Bruce is now post-Avengers! If you're not sure if you're established CR, ping me and I'll let you know if they're included, but feel free to play fast and loose.]

Officially they're attributed to the Protheans, a spacefaring species that went extinct 50,000 years ago.

A few years ago, I found out they're actually much older than that, created - well, I don't even know how long ago it was. Possibly billions of years ago. By a race of sapient machines called Reapers.

I guess it's all relative. Nobody believes me back home, even after a Reaper attacked the seat of government.

Not that I blame them for it, necessarily. Tough to wrap your head around something so evil it exists only to kill organics.

In the words of my former Gunnery Chief, "I hate politicians".

But it does seem like the, uh, quota of impossible things is a lot higher here than it was even back home.

Seems plausible. A friend of mine once theorized about the possibility of a universe where one plus one equals three, and how it would fundamentally change all the laws of physics as we know them.

[If by "friend" you mean "AI inhabiting my ship" and "once theorized" you mean "I remember it from my vision of the future"]

The whole thing kinda gives me a headache, though. I sincerely wish you the best of luck with your project.

Right, I think that's what she meant. Not changing the rules in our universe, but - well, anyway.

Though it seems what we have here is a place where - somehow - all the rules of all the universes seem to apply at the same time.

You know, I think I recall someone asking if people were interested in learning magic a while back - I wish I could remember who it was, or if they're even still here. They seemed to be operating on the assumption that anyone here should be able to learn those skills.

There you go. I mean, I guess it would be interesting in theory to know if I could do magic, but I'd worry how it'd affect my biotics.

And if you ever need readings, or something - I can't say I like it, but I'm used to being poked and prodded.

I can handle those.

Honestly, my doctor would probably be giving me a lecture about now, for not having my implants checked since I've been here. I'm kind of... unique, where I come from. But I think a lot of people here are, in one way or another.
cmdreffingshepard: (pretty)

I'm not sure anybody's really the right kind of doctor.

Cybernetics, mostly. Maybe a robotics expert would be the way to go.

If he's interested, I won't say no. If nothing else, maybe it'll help others.
