So it's a tiny, shy girl's voice the one making this post.]

It's not too bad, I never feel... really comfortable with any body because my body always wants to change so this is no different. I just don't want to buy new clothes if this is going to be temporary.

[He's about to shake his head but then he thinks about it, and tilts his head.] I could... use some more clothes? Wearing my usual clothes makes me look like someone washed me in cold water and I shrunk.

[There's a pause, and then Percy actually laughs. It's not like his usual laughs - kind of strained, like something is pressing down on it and squeezing out all the air - but it's better than nothing] Yeah, definitely. It's just that what his brain is logically processing doesn't add up to what his eyes are seeing and he has to blink a couple of times to even believe it. At least the fact that he was happily getting his breakfast when there was a poof and suddenly he was-

He sighs and shakes his head] But that's- not important right now. How are you dealing with Leo's body? And his powers?

It's...weird. I mean, my magic can get a little...violent if I'm in a bad mood and it's a vital part of me, but it's not as...I'm not sure how to describe it. Magic, if you don't learn or practice it, eventually goes away more or less. Gran and Gramps're like that. I don't think that's the case with Leo's powers.

[He shakes his head, raising an eyebrow. They never thought of their powers like 'magic' back at home, more like powers or gifts or legacy... but it seems Sadie's powers work differently. He wonders if he should worry about what Leo could do if he's in her body.]

We usually keep our powers, but as we grow old- well, people actually want to start having a normal life and use them less and less. Lose practice. But they are still there, they are a part of us. Part of our genes, even if gods don't have those. It's not an ability, if that makes sense? It's who we are.

Maybe you'll be able to control them if you think of them like that?

[Frank rolls his eyes in an exaggerated movement, teasing her back.] I was just asking, you didn't really need to rub it in! But I'm glad to see you're doing fine Vanessa. Things could have gotten way weirder when magic is involved, I guess.
