[Yes hello turtleland. It's been a while, hasn't it? Rory certainly thinks so. Time just seems to fly somehow when you're trapped on some apparent 'In Between' thing that happens to be on the back of a giant turtle. And then there's also the fact that he has an egg to care for...

...but that's not the point of this post. This post is out because, as one may be able to see from the moment the video starts, is the fact that while the post is most certainly from Rory's console, the person making is video is not Rory at all. In fact, the person who's in your screen now is not even male.

He's somehow turned into a bigger than average red woman.]

Um.

[Trying not to fidget here... yeah, this is kind of awkward. Which is really an understatement in and of itself.]

I really hate to join in the other posts going around now, but-- [Gestures to himself. Or herself. Either way.] --could anybody tell me what to do? Is whatever happened to me reversible, or am I going to be stuck like this for as long as I'm here?

[Pause, as Rory takes a moment to not freak out.]

Really hope I'm not in an alien body-- Just, could somebody help me here? I really don't want to make this any weirder than it already is. [Attempting a smile here. It's not really working.] Thanks.

Who are you swapped with?

[It's said very slowly and carefully so he can grasp what is happening and not freak out like he did with Clara. He seemed to be wonderfully immune to this little spell.]

You're saying I switched bodies??

Yes, that seems to be the new 'in thing' here. Swapping bodies, ages and genders. Little unsettling but I'm trying my best to navigate it.

[Forgive him, he's still staring. BUT THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT NORMAL.]

[It's okay, Rory isn't sure what to make of this... body... too. Its so... womanly. And red.]

I've never seen somebody like this before. [Well, you know, besides himself being in this body now but that's something else altogether... right?]

Are you sure? -- I didn't think randomly bulky red women just sort of wandered around a giant turtle. [This red female Rory was shockingly in shape.]

Maybe we should start thinking of an answer to this. Erm, okay, what do you know about how to cancel magic spells from our research? [He claps his hands together, curious to see if Rory learned more than he had.]

I don't think they do either. But apparently somebody does, despite that. [Otherwise how else would he be in this situation?

Also, Doctor: not helping. But Rory indulges you anyway because he's nice like that.] Er, well. Use another magic spell with the same strength? An anti-spell?

[Yeaaaah he's kind of making that up.]

Anti-spell? How do we do an anti-spell? I can't even do a normal spell. Or understand how it works. All that asking and no one told me how to do anything but pull the rabbit from the hat. And I knew that already!

[So much for research to be able to help them out. He was just at a loss over what he could do to help Rory. Oh how he missed sciency problems.] Have you considered trying to locate whoever has your body?

[Well you can't help it when you're suddenly thrown into a place where magic is real. Rory's still trying to come to terms with it, sometimes.]

It was just a suggestion. [Great, now he feels like an idiot again. Thanks Doctor.] And, uh... I suppose I could start with that. Maybe hopefully the person who has my body will contact me through this post.

[Well, you should feel dumb :| cause he does. All that information and neither one of them thought to take notes or try to remember any of it. That just seemed to be how things were here, one thing and then another. Maddening.]

[Rory is not smart enough to feel dumb. He knows he's not the sharpest person in the world; he's human, after all, not a 1300 year old alien.

But yes, the things that happen here are rather frustrating.]

We could try and figure out who might have my body? Unless my body switched again with somebody else, I guess whoever's body I have now is the one who has mine.

They'll probably come forward. I'm sure they're just as attached to their body as you are to yours... unless they didn't want to be a giant red person any more. In which case, we will panic and start a search.

[He votes they at least give it a day or two.]

I wouldn't blame them if that was the case. I certainly wouldn't want to be stuck as some giant red person if I had the chance.
