When she means 'something', does she mean like having a murderer as a family member? It's a valid question to ask, but he doesn't want to seem harsh.]

Kinda. [You could say that. Technically. Tony had become a friend of sorts because of this.]

And yeah, missing.. I don't know. Details, maybe? I figure if I can narrow down who it's not, it might be easier to figure out who it is.

So, more just people you knew in a little more then passing? You obviously have to know them to know that they've died.

[He has to pause. Because, well. Awkward territory, here.] Okay. Right. Really, you're asking if someone in my family could be a murderer. Not that any are, but you're asking other people these questions, right?

[She sighs.] You're the only one I know with family here besides those two kind of crazy scientist people and Superman and his dad, okay? I want to know who they are because I'd really appreciate having an idea of who might be innocent, okay? Unless you think one of them did it.

[Hayley glances off screen and then back again.] And I'm asking because I'm one of the people who died and it's- [Her voice breaks for a split second before she evens it out again.] -important to me to figure out who it was.

I know none of them did it. [Did he think one of them was capable of doing something like that? Yeah, that he did. But he knew they didn't do this. And he'd like to help in who.

Especially because one question was answered. Dick nods.] Okay. But if you're okay with it, I'd really like to sometimes be updated about this, all right? I can't ever stop being a cop, even if it's been awhile.

[He holds up his hand, ticking them off.] I have three younger brothers. Damian Wayne is the youngest, followed by Tim Drake. Then it's Jason Todd, and then it's me. Our dad is Bruce Wayne. I also have a sister, Cass, but she's not here. But, obviously, the rest are.

[Hayley gives a forced smile, then nods, trying to seem more upbeat than she feels when he asks to be kept informed.]

Yeah, of course. Maybe you can help investigate or whatever.

[Except then he begins listing off his family members. Her face actually pales, an uncontrolled and less than ideal response.]

[As in, he's damn good at sneaking around if need be. Discreetly checking things without giving himself away.

Still, she looks like she might pass out for a second, and Dick looks concerned.]

[The accusative reply hides her kneejerk response to his family tree. Hayley recovers quickly, adopting an expression equal parts sarcastic and surprised as she continues.]

More like keep my eyes, and especially my ears open. You never know what other people might turn up with.

[Says it mildly. Because yeah, he'll keep an ear out for anything. Who knows what could happen?

Dick just shakes his head with a small smile.] Of course Bruce Wayne is your boss. But if you want to be technical, I'm adopted. Doesn't make me any less related, though.

[She's quiet for a moment, then just ignores the first part and moves on to the latter.]

Don't take it too personally. I work for Lois Lane and Tony Stark too. Plus Jor-El and I do these science lecture things? I just like to stay busy.
