[Mark can be seen sitting at one of the many internet cafes in the Earth sector. With Eve gone, he had to go back to these to post to the network as Mark, as his console belongs to "Invincible". ~~Gotta try to have that secret identity.~~ He smiles and gives a dorky little wave.]

So uh, if we were back on Earth it would be pretty close to Halloween, wouldn't it? Uh, those of you from Earth, I mean.... And Halloween is nothing without horror movies--especially zombie movies. As I don't think moves are an option here, I'm trying to get my horror fix somewhere else. Suggestions??

Nah, it's fine. I figured it was a long shot, but I still had to ask. [And yeah, he really is missing his dad, but he's trying not to think about it.]

Did you have a time of the year you'd watch them?

Not really. We lived in different cities, you see- I couldn't visit him as much as I would have liked. [He reaches to rub the back of his neck. Mark isn't the only one who misses his father- Jonathan's death is still recent for him, even after all the months he's spent on the turtle. He might have gotten his birth parent back, but nobody is a substitute for the man who raised him.]

I've only seen my dad twice in the past two years, so I guess I know the feeling. [Except the reason he hasn't seen his dad more often is because a. his dad tried to destroy Earth and really couldn't come back even after he realized what a mistake it was and b. was imprisoned by his own people for failing to conquer Earth, and Mark had no idea where this prison was. He had just gotten his dad back again, and then he came here. Go him!]

I guess you do. [This is where he usually would go drown in sadness and angst and curse the world because it let his father die, but he's always been better at deflecting sadness when he has someone else to worry about.]

I wish I could find a way for you to get to see the movies, most I can offer is scary story-time around while we toast marshmallows on a fire.

[Yeah well he should roll a little closer to home. Like... on the moon. Mark hears there's an abandoned Guardians of the Globe base up there.]

Like camping? [Clark you don't strike him as the camping sort.]

[He raises an eyebrow, not being able to keep a grin at Mark's expression. He pushes up his glasses to cover it.

He'd been judged by his looks more often that he would care to think about, that was the whole point of this 'disguise'. The too-big-suits, the gasses, the sheepish looks... they play a role he's learned to accept. But getting that look at mentioning camping? That's a new one.]

You just seem like... camping wouldn't be your thing.

I'll let you know my parent took me camping often, and I've taken both my little cousins camping as well once or twice.
