[Mark can be seen sitting at one of the many internet cafes in the Earth sector. With Eve gone, he had to go back to these to post to the network as Mark, as his console belongs to "Invincible". Gotta try to have that secret identity. He smiles and gives a dorky little wave.]

So uh, if we were back on Earth it would be pretty close to Halloween, wouldn't it? Uh, those of you from Earth, I mean.... And Halloween is nothing without horror movies--especially zombie movies. As I don't think moves are an option here, I'm trying to get my horror fix somewhere else. Suggestions??

[Having just come back from death, she's not too keen on the whole horror movie mentions. But it's Hayley, so she simply has her chin resting on her hand, seemingly bored, as she replies.]

I think costumes and candy before I think horror movies. Why don't you throw a costume party or something?

I was thinking maybe something along those lines... but I kind of sort of thought no one would come if I asked. [Mark was kind of a loser in high school. He had great friends and all, but there weren't many, and he's frankly not confident he's befriended anyone like that here.]

Depends on what you mean by horror. There is the sort of horror you can achieve through film or something dangerous happening to you. You could always get the rushed of taking a blind leap off the side of the turtle's shell.

Fear of death. Nothing like it.

Why zombie films? That Nightmare on Whatever street guy was pretty horrifying. I sat through half of the first one when I was seven.

[Out of nowhere, a ghost appears, glowing, and lunges at the screen, cackling wickedly, before vanishing.]

[This would be a great trick if it wasn't for something called a console ID so Mark knows exactly who this is...]

The people around Mark look over at him in surprise as he crashes off his chair and slams into the ground behind him. Normally he wouldn't have fallen for such a cheap shock trick, but like that video where you're watching one thing and then all of a sudden something else decides to pop out at you, he was not expecting that.

Mark quietly apologizes to the cafe, fixes his stool and sits back down.

Ring ring, Rayner. Not cool.]

I think someone had some kind of horror movies before. I mean we had a movie night awhile back. I don't know who they belonged to though, sorry.

I'm not sure where else to get a horror fix unless you want to see if any of the Kedan are putting on any horror-ish plays.

This time thing is really crazy, I didn't even think of Halloween! I love it, dressing up in costumes is so much fun. You see a ton of Avenger costumes in New York... well, kind of everywhere. Hey, do you think the kedan have some kind of tradition for the season or something?

And how can you not love Halloween? Hands down best holiday. Between the costumes and the candy... If they don't they're missing out.

It's uh, a really old holiday celebrated by real witches and stuff. But in my time it's a day where everyone gets dressed up in costumes and goes trick-or-treating.

That's when you go from house to house asking for candy. It's awesome.
