16 ❄ ( VIDEO )
[ Jack's video feed clicks on and he barely waits until it's fully activated before excitedly crowding in front of it, Baby Tooth perched on his shoulder, a little prismatic jewel of colour against his hoodie. ]
Guys, guys look, look I'm starting to figure it out!
[ A quick, eager bite of his lip and then he pushes his fingers down against the desk. They seem for a moment to meet resistance... and then they begin to pass intangibly through the wooden surface yet as they do, the whole of Jack's form appears to waver like an apparition. Baby Tooth chirps at him, her tone clearly chiding and he pulls his fingers free once more though it does nothing to damper the spirit's bubbly, boyish grin. ]
Starting to figure it out due to Baby Tooth's expert teaching, of course!
OOC Explanation
(( As a result of learning from Baby Tooth how to develop powers that he inherently has from being a spirit, Jack's magic is realigning! This means that there will be a change in how he's perceived by believers. Going forward, rather than a general acceptance of magic being enough to see him, people will have to have reconciliation of that a person can be the personification of a literal season (not necessarily HIM, just that a being is capable of filling that role). Essentially, the guidelines previously used are being "tightened up" through IC development.
How does this affect your character? Ultimately it is that player's choice whether anything changes! If you don't wish to have this impact whether they can see/hear/etc Jack (and Baby Tooth by extension), that's fine. For those who ARE interested, their ability to interact with him may change or regress: if they could see him before, perhaps now they can only hear him. OR they may only see him when they're looking at him straight on, else he seems to vanish from sight. Any fluctuating change is fun to play out, but it is always entirely your discretion.
These changes have been added to Jack's PERMISSIONS POST and these guidelines will be used going forward! ))

So how long before I can start throwing things at you to "dodge"?
[But, no, really, she's proud of you, Frosty.]

But I already have the tennis balls lined up. [No, she doesn't.]

Re: video;

Didn't realize you knew him personally, kid.
[ Of course, the spell doesn't last long as he chuckles sheepishly, but it's probably a nice reprieve while it lasted. ]
So was he as good as they said?
Re: video;

I'm impressed, Jack. Just no sneaking into my suite. That's my only request.
[She almost says "Or Raleigh's, either." But that'd be telling, wouldn't it? Even if they are still just friends.]

Come on, that joke's been done to the moon and back with me. Get it? Moon.

Say something.

You're developing a new power? And nothing's wrong with stuff after you pass through it?
Re: [Video]
[ The second part had, by his expression, clearly not occurred yet to him. He pressed his hand once again on the desk surface, testing it. ]
Nope... doesn't look like it.

I think you're going to need to do the ice sculptures again. I seem to have regressed.
