It should be. People tend to forget that daily, every day events - and the people that experience them - matter just as much as big crises.

For all his time spent with the League fighting beings of both a terrestrial and extraterrestrial nature, he's had surprisingly little contact with those of advanced lifespans. A god, perhaps?
