[There’s a handsome young man sitting in front of the console in a really tight t-shirt that shows off pretty much every muscle in his chest. For the moment, his eyes are a dark blue, and there’s a brooding look on his face. When he crosses his arms over his chest, people can see the leather gloves he’s wearing.

Jonah hasn't really wanted to use this thing, but he can recognize the advantage of being able to talk to people without actually being around them.] I have a couple of questions. First, is there a dry cleaners around here, or does anyone know how to get blood out of denim? Second, gloves. Where is the best place I can get a few pairs? Third, I’m in search of a sword. Any will do at the moment.

Not being from Earth? It's not unheard of. Also, times are out of whack. I know a guy from 17th century France. Maybe 18th century. And I know other people who are from places I've never heard of.

I guess the girl who didn't know what jeans are makes a little bit more sense. [He runs gloved fingers through messy hair.] Just the idea can drive a man to drinking. [But that would mean letting his guard down, and he's not an idiot.]

Some people, I guess. I don't drink all that much. [ And he can't get drunk. ] Tried it, though. A bartender here let me try one of everything. I liked beer and whiskey. Tequila wasn't bad either.
