Greetings. I am Commander Spock of the USS Enterprise, a Starfleet contingent of the United Federation of Planets. I understand that we are temporally isolated as well as spatially displaced and that this is not a subdivision of any one possible multiverse, neither a pocket dimension of any one universe, but a unique quantum singularity linking many and each possible variation thereof. If others here have scientific findings of this nature, I pre-emptively extend my gratitude in the event of any information being divulged.
[ AKA pls share ur theories. He's not human, in case anyone with eyes and ears missed the blatant memo staring them in the face, the approximation of what would happen were a dollop of raw science and a great jawline to get mixed with an elf in a blender. Spock pauses thoughtfully, glancing away, and a single slender brow arches when he looks back; there are likely a great deal of customs to be observed from numerous new species and races, none of which he seeks to offend. ]
It has been brought to my attention that this is not my first foray into Keeliai. While I would request that you exert a measure of patience with my ... freshly acquired outlook, you will find me amenable to revisiting former acquaintances. [ Again he hesitates, though this time it comes across as more of an amendment. If you've been hanging out with his BFF, prepare to explain why, how and to what end. ] Similarly, I wish to meet with any and all allies of Captain James T. Kirk at their earliest convenience.
All remaining Starfleet personnel are to submit a fully comprehensive report effective immediately regarding their time here. Audio will suffice, given the circumstances.
[ And off goes the feed. ]

Are you amenable to my arrival this evening?
[ Uncertain how long McCoy and Chekov's reports will take, it's best to leave a certain berth. ]

Sure, just before dinner? See you then.

Sure are a lot of kedan around here. ]

Good to see you. Come in.

Is Captain Kirk responsible for sanctioning your use of a standard Starfleet frequency on the local network?
[ It's his job to make sure shit is tight and above board, okay. Don't take it personally, Kyle. ]
action;
It's installed on my console, he uses it sometimes. I must've pressed that button. Would you prefer I used my own?
action;
[ And just to clarify where he stands, ] I do not wish to compromise their development with my personal knowledge on the subject.
[ No matter what everyone else is doing. ]
action;
No, they're not. Their level of technology is comparable to... 13th century Earth? There's a few advancements here and there which you can check out in the Metal Sector, but I'm not sure if that's native or a result of bringing people here. Since there's a lot of scientists and engineers in the population of detainees, there's been interference. My colleagues and I have provided medical aid to the general population, nothing further.
[A beat.]
Populations on the continent have a very different level of technology, I can show you my reports if you want more details.

Your captain has a couple of your belongings, I think your tricorder might be amongst them, and I'd be happy to supplement its readings once you've looked at them.
[A beat.]
Otherwise, what do you want to know? Aside from why I asked you to come here.
action;
Until I am at liberty to further my investigations, I am willing to determine the nature of our previous interactions.
action;
Well - uh. You got here, we talked. I was curious about the Federation, you wanted to know more about the Corps.
[A brief smile, at the memory, but there's a long pause, before he puts his right hand on the table, fingers splayed. The ring glints in the light.]
This is a power ring. It's telepathically bonded to me and uses my willpower as fuel. [Without moving his hand, a construct phaser begins to form. Within a few seconds it's gone from a bare outline to a fully formed and functional weapon.] As you can imagine, it requires fine control.
[Another pause.]
It's affected by my emotions. You offered to teach me some techniques, and in return, I shared a few I knew. The last time you were here, you told me you were emotionally unstable.
action;
Why did I inform you?
action;
It was logical.
[Duh.]
I've encountered a few thousand civilisations during my career; it's highly likely something or other would have helped you. [A beat.] And vice versa.
[A longer pause, as he purses his lips.]
That, and... we were friends.
action;
The two people he could talk to have either been brushed off or remained ignorant.
Spock's only friend knows nothing of the issues that plague him peripherally, so it's impossible to imagine lowering his shields for anyone else under any other circumstances. It's not in his nature to be difficult when human sentiment is genuine, but it is hard to quantify what he used to be to Kyle into what is expected of him now, having no intention to follow his previous incarnation's life to such a vaunted degree.
His brow twitches, more in concern than consternation. ]
I am no longer emotionally compromised. [ Not right now, anyway. It serves to neatly dismiss addressing the issue. ] Having related my timeline with the captain, it has become apparent I am from his near future.
action;
I'm glad you're okay, and that you're here for him now. Sorry it meant being separated from your ship and the rest of your crew.
[He's happy to leave the issue well enough alone; he hasn't changed that much (he doesn't think he has), and it's unfair to put that on Spock again.]
action;
I will do everything in my power not to leave him. [ Again, evidently. He doesn't like the guilt he feels for that, tamped down beneath stoic logic. ] Have you acted as his support in the interim?
action;
[And under all circumstances, not his.]
I did my best.
[Which is the truth, as well as an implication of failure on his part. Some gaps he can't fill, he tries to accept that.]
[Quieter, more firmly:] You didn't. Leave him, I mean. Nobody here goes willingly.
action;
Nevertheless, your efforts are commendable. Are you hosting lessons for the kedan young?
action;
Yeah, art. [he gestures to one of the cupboards, the door of which he hasn't closed yet. It's full of local fauna, in misshapen clay figurines.] They've taken pretty well to sculpting.
action;
[ It seems something of a waste of skill. ]

[ Jim is ... not broken, but fractured in multiple places. Spock intends to hold things together where his captain can't, but he'll be useless if he doesn't have a general idea of where to begin and Jim will never admit to the things that have really wounded him. So, recon.
If anyone asks, it's not snooping, it's his
callingjob. ]action;
[However, he's privately amused (and saddened) by the fact that they'll never admit the things that truly bother them.]
[However, this is a little too close to tattling.]
What kind of reports?
