Hello, again. For those who may not know me, my name is Sharon Carter. Back home, I was a government agent. I know everyone's busy with the cold and the disappearances, so I'll try not to take as little of your time as possible.

In short, if you know anything about the killings in recent months, I'd like to speak with you.

[ Sharon's face reveals her disappointment, though it's only for an instant. She had tried to brace herself, evidently to no avail. Few others here seemed to know her. And the ones who knew her best had disappeared. Her entire family, no matter how well she knew them, had disappeared.

She forces herself to look on the bright side. At least this Natasha won't be calling her "Mom."

The killer has murdered at least two people who later came back to life, waking in the same room where they first arrived. They can't remember, or aren't willing to share, many details of the encounter. There was a third victim who fought with the killer but survived.

From the three of them, we know we're looking for a man over five-foot-ten, though not terribly taller than that. He's lean, not bulky.

During the week of the killings, people switched bodies, genders, and in some cases, abilities. The killer received super-speed, likely as part of an alien's abilities. I'm still working on gathering a list of what those abilities are.

I theorize the killer only had those abilities for a week, and knowing they would only be temporary, took advantage while he could. I haven't heard of any killings or even attempts since, which says the person has either disappeared or is very self-controlled.

I'm working to narrow down a list of suspects, but as of yet, it still has only fifty names. There are several people interested in pursuing the murderer, several of whom I think we can trust with this. [ With this. Not necessarily other things. ]

I'm thinking about gathering us all together and sending people out in teams to interview people on the list to try to narrow it down some more.

[ Natasha prefers to work alone, and she idly wonders if this Sharon knows this, if this other her this Sharon knows is the same way. It kind of makes her skin crawl, and Natasha pushes thoughts of alternate universes out of her mind to focus on the task at hand.
