[The console turns on to the sight of Teddy's anxious face and in the background the viewer can just make out the shape of a giant egg laying in a pile of blankets on the floor.]

I'm calling all turtle egg parents here. I'm a new...,uh parent I guess. Man that is really strange to say. This is my first time taking care of the egg by myself. I guess I was just wondering what are some of the ways you other egg parents take care of your egg. Like, do you ever leave your apartment? Because I have to admit the idea of walking around out there with the egg is kind of intimidating.

So...yeah. Help? Please?

[Teddy scoots in closer.]

I have another question for you guys, and this one probably applies to a wider group of people here. I know that a lot of people here have powers or special abilities that are unique to them. That's probably old news to everyone, right? What I'm interested in knowing is what kind of powers or abilities does everyone have? Think of it as a kind of survey. It might become useful in the future to know that we have twelve magic users and only two telepaths or whatever. [If not it will certainly satisfy Teddy's geeky need to categorize as many new heroes and their abilities as possible in his head. He's definitely missing Wikipedia right about now.]

You don't have to give your name if that makes you uncomfortable. Feel free to reply with an anonymous text if you want. To start things off, I'll go first. My main talent is shape-shifting. But I also have some other handy abilities like super-strength and a healing factor. [The anonymous text idea is really for people who want to keep their established secret identity a secret. Teddy feels more comfortable being open about his identity here where he's surrounded by other people with powers, but he knows there are probably others who don't feel the same.]

When it comes to the eggs, I keep it wrapped up and read to it or tell it stories I just remember from back home. Maybe things that I've done as well.

Power wise, teleporting is what I do.

Sounds like talking to it is popular. Any idea if they can actually hear us? That would be pretty cool.

You have it easy. I mean, I can carry it. But you probably barely have to touch it to teleport it somewhere.

I haven't noticed anything sadly. But I like to think they do, makes it less awkward when I'm perched on top of an egg talking about the circus or that one time that thing happened.

I haven't actually tried to teleport it. It's a living thing and most people tend to feel pretty nauseous after I port them until they're used to it. Wouldn't want to somehow affect the turtle inside.

[He laughs.] It' easier to talk when you think someone it listening. Unless you just like talking to yourself about things you don't want others to hear. But unless they're talking turtles I don't suppose they'd be able to tell anyone our secrets.

That makes sense. We want to give it a reason to want to hatch, not scare it away.

Well sometimes there is that. But now I'm going to wonder if the turtle will be able to talk, even telepathically and spread all my deepest secrets. That would be embarrassing.

I'm just wondering how fast they'll grow and if they'll be like Tu Vishan at all.

Maybe you should start being more careful? Just in case?

I don't know. Hopefully they don't grown too fast. It would be insane to have that many turtles as big as Tu Vishan around. Although...would they following her around or go their own way? It would be kind of cool to go turtle hopping.

You'd think I would, I guess we'll have to wait and see if I can though. I can run my mouth when I get going.

I think I'd be a little upset if they just went their own way for a selfish reason. Hm, would kedan leave and start another city or one of the races from the cities all over here.

I don't know. We can't really judge them by normal turtle behavior can we? If these were normal turtles them would have been left on the beach and have to crawl their way to the ocean. [He remembers a few things from a video he saw in biology class.] Maybe these turtles are all about staying with their mom.

Hm. I suppose it'll be something we find out when the times comes about.

Yeah, I just wish we knew when that would be.

Is your group doing well with your egg?

I guess so. I mean, I think we're doing alright. The two of them were on their own with the egg for awhile before I came into the picture. They seem to know what they're doing.

Then I think you're a great addition to their team.

I hope so. I just didn't think I'd be one of three parents to a giant turtle at 17 years old. [He grins teasingly.]
