[It takes a while for Colby to say anything after he turns on the feed. He knows what he wants to say but he's finding it hard to say what he needs to say without sounding like a total sap. Finally, he manages to get out:]

...If anyone's looking for Tony Chu, he ain't here anymore. Anyone with any outstanding business with him or whatever, come to me and I'll take care of it.

[A sniffle can be heard right before he turns the feed off.]

[For all that Scott thinks Colby is still massive jerk most days, he wouldn't want anyone to lose a friend. And he had liked Tony well enough.]

Hey now, I worked with a guy who would've taken the gold medal home in jackassery. Drove me up the wall 99% of the time, but if push came to shove I'd still throw my life down on the line for him.

He has this... thing with food. Through it he found out there was a serial killer in the kitchen. When we went to apprehend him, boom! hatchet to the face.

It's because we've been partners for over a decade I can call him an asshole. [Not that he needed a decade to see that...] I'm not going to fool myself about who Tony isn't. I know he's an asshole, but at the end of the day he's got my back, and that's all that matters to me.

That's a lot of time to work together. Again I am sorry he left. Will he be safe at home?

... As safe as anyone working in law enforcement can be.

Tony can take care of his-- [Oh shit. Tony's from his past. If he goes home... he'll find out about Toni.]

I'm a journalist, but that doesn't mean I'd put my nose on everyone's affairs. [He does that on his own accord. But he does understand what Colby means, and he hadn't expected him to explain about Tony's future.]

There are people who came here the moment before their death. I myself have something bad expecting me back home if my friend's reactions are anything to go by. There isn't much we can do about it but enjoy the time we get here while it lasts.

Tony's not about to die. [Someone else is.]

But something bad is going to happen to him. Something very bad, judging by your reaction- so what I said still stands. He had time away from that in this place, and he even had you around to make his stay in here better.

If you're trying to comfort me, save it boy scout. Tony'll be just fine.
