[It takes a while for Colby to say anything after he turns on the feed. He knows what he wants to say but he's finding it hard to say what he needs to say without sounding like a total sap. Finally, he manages to get out:]

...If anyone's looking for Tony Chu, he ain't here anymore. Anyone with any outstanding business with him or whatever, come to me and I'll take care of it.

[A sniffle can be heard right before he turns the feed off.]

[Debates saying anything further.] I'm... from Tony's future. I know something he doesn't.

[A 'hum' as he processes it. Kind of like him and Kara, when she was here.]

Something bad? Are you afraid he might be going back to that?

...Something like that. I don't know you and it's his life, so I ain't saying anything further on the subject, just so we're clear.

I'm a journalist, but that doesn't mean I'd put my nose on everyone's affairs. [He does that on his own accord. But he does understand what Colby means, and he hadn't expected him to explain about Tony's future.]

There are people who came here the moment before their death. I myself have something bad expecting me back home if my friend's reactions are anything to go by. There isn't much we can do about it but enjoy the time we get here while it lasts.

Tony's not about to die. [Someone else is.]

But something bad is going to happen to him. Something very bad, judging by your reaction- so what I said still stands. He had time away from that in this place, and he even had you around to make his stay in here better.

Well, yes. I was. [A sheepish grin, but he doesn't look embarrassed or sorry at all.]

As long as you're sure. [But he didn't become Batman's best friend by believing things like these. He'll leave it alone for now out of respect, but he still knows better.]
