[Everyone gets to see two familiar faces this time, with a couple of twists. Dick (the elder) is sitting down in the chair, wearing a bright red coat with white trim, a hat of the same color, and of course, a beard to match the whole thing. It’s pulled down, though, so you can see his face. And his wonderful assistant, Zatanna, is standing behind him, dressed up like the most beautiful elf there is. They’re both looking pretty happy about this.]

It’s getting cold out! And what does cold mean? Holiday fun, of course. So I, and my amazing elf assistant here, have decided that Santa Claus needs to come to the turtle. [See what he did there? See it? Okay, good.]

And so it is with pleasure that we let everyone know-- [He gets cut off as Zatanna leans forward, and he looks up at her.]

[The fifteen-year-old elf bends down until she's level with his ear, covering her mouth so she could whisper something secretively to him.]

Really?

[She nods, and offers a playful wink.] Trust me. I know a guy who knows the guy personally.

[Dick looks back at the screen, and his voice drops into a perfect, heavy Russian accent.] Is this better?

[She practically has to bite her tongue to keep from bursting out laughing. Impressive. She should've known.] It'll do.

[Dick grins.] I’d like to invite everyone to come over to the Wood sector, where we have a little holiday party going on.

[He stops, laughing and shaking his head. He has to drop the Russian accent.] Okay, I can’t keep that one up, but I tried! Anyway, we’ve got a small thing going on in a café in the Wood sector, with some cakes and gingerbread-ish things, and some hot drinks. And what would Santa be without his...

[He holds up a huge, red velvet-like bag.] Bag, yes! And it is filled with little odds and ends, so there are presents for all!

[Dick sets the bag down, and pulls the beard back up with a grin.] And to all, a good... day? Yeah, that still works. To all, a good day! Remember, café in the Wood sector, we’ll be here awhile!

Got to agree with my elf, it's a lot hotter then I thought it would be. So, yup, it's very, very warm!

Okay. Warm cafe, warm drinks, Santa...I'll be there in a few minutes. It'll definitely be an improvement over sitting here in my apartment and cursing the cold.

Great, can't wait! Sitting there by yourself and not having getting to have some fun? Not even close to having a good time!

The winter usually isn't a good time for me in general. Cold and I don't get along.

I would have never guessed. [He grins.] Do you have a thick coat for here? Please tell me you can make a fire wherever you're living, anything.

[He nods.] I've got a pair of coats. And I can start a fire if I have to.

Okay, all right, that is good to hear. Look, when you get here, just let me know when you're going to leave. I'll hook you up with a box of hot things that everyone needs to get through the winter. You will not believe all of the warm things that I have found, and I am more then happy to share them with people. [He nods.]

Oh man...thank you so much. I'll really owe you one.

No problem. Victor, right? Don't worry about it, Victor, I've got your back.

[He nods.] Yeah, I'm Victor. Thanks again. The cold here is just miserable.

It's getting pretty bad. I thought winters could be tough in Gotham? But this is getting up there. Less then winter in New York, though. [He grins.]

I think it depends on the part of New York. It was pretty bad upstate but then again we had a guy named Iceman that may or may not have been making it worse. [He manages a little smile too.]

[Dick chuckles.] Wait, don't tell me, let me guess: he makes ice with his powers?

But back on track, I'm gonna make sure that you go home with some hot food and drinks, and more anything hot. And if you'd like, I could bring in some small machinery that generates heat, and I an get you apartment so warm, you won't even need a coat!

Actually he generates muffins. [Victor keeps a straight face for a few moments before laughing.] Sorry, yeah...he's got cryokinesis.

I like the sound of this. Especially small heaters. [He pauses for a moment, thinking about something Santo told him and decides to take a chance.] Does that anything include the hot guy dressed in the Santa suit?

[Dick laughs at that. He loves muffins.] I was really excited for the muffins! If there should be any powers out there, it should be to generate muffins. But I guess I'll take cryokinesis.

[Oh, well. Dick is only slightly surprised, and he's able to roll with it pretty easily. Not the first time this has happened.] It does include the hot guy, but he's only a delivery boy. [He grins.]

And a possible really good friend. [How old are you?]

Sorry. Beast makes the best muffins ever though. He made some kind of super muffin-making machine. And it hasn't tried to kill anyone yet unlike the coffee maker. [He's not even joking.] If he ever shows up here, I'll ask him to make another one.

[There's some disappointment and a little quick mental kick but Victor keeps it hidden.] Darn. Well, had to try.

Really good friends sounds good though. [He's seventeen now.]
