So...this post isn't exactly super-important-Mally-related. Or anything like that at all, actually. But I figured I should ask around! The thing is, I kind of got carried away with the auctions. I've never been to one before, and there were all kinds of interesting things for sale, and before I knew it I ended up with a bunch of French books that I've never heard of. At least, I think they're French. I don't even read French.

[She's grinning, though, amused by her own terrible decision making] Anyway, I've seen that people have been picking up stuff that actually belongs to other people, so I thought I'd ask if these belong to anyone. [She proceeds to dance the books across the screen, one at a time. She sets them down when she's done, but she doesn't seem quite ready to hang up.]

--Actually, this is something completely unrelated to the books, but something Vanessa said in her post reminded me. Do we actually have any places for clubbing here? Or dancing? I asked when I first showed up, but I never really got an answer. I think it'd be fun. And useful! Dancing before trying to save the world has a one hundred percent success rate, in my experience.

...Yeah, I know that feeling, but all part of growing up, right? Live and learn, or something philosophical like that. I dunno.

You think? [That wistful tone sticks in her voice] I don't know if this place is really a part of the growing up process. More like it's forcing everyone to be way more adult than they would have ordinarily had to have been.

[She laughs a little here, though] Not that home was much different, I guess.

Hah, true that. Not normal, and it sucks, but we got to make the best of it. But I really do echo the need for some kind of entertainment. This place isn't dead or anything, but it's just weird. Like going from city life to the suburbs. Only on a turtle.

Exactly! I mean, the turtle thing throws some interest in there, but going up to Asti's head doesn't really encourage dancing or anything.

What do you think, could we make something happen?

What, you mean like making a club? [He makes a small 'hm'] I mean, I guess it's possible, but we'd need a lot of juulan to start anything up like that. Not even sure where to begin.

...Actually I was thinking more like throwing a party or something, but your idea is way better.
