[saviormaiden]

[ The video feed cuts on to show a very irritated looking girl. She seems to be in her late teens, and her thick lips are pursed tightly. The look might be a slightly familiar one for some residents, or ones that have seen the other Hale around. ]

Look, I feel really bad for this place and all. [ The sarcasm drips off of every word. ] My heart bleeds, really. But I don't have time for this, I have my own 'battles' to fight.

[ She's Not Pleased, capitalization included. She's frustrated that she's been taken against her will, taken so soon after she had been down and out for so long. The people weren't even clear if her brother was here.

She hopes it's not the Alpha pack. ] Derek, are you here? We need to figure out a plan to get home. I'm not twiddling my thumbs in this place any longer than I have to, this isn't my war to fight.

[ Cora is very adamant about this. She also might be thinking of a way to tell the emperor to sit and spin. ]

[ Now she's just confused. ] What? That's ridiculous, I was just with you! You were resting after you healed me—

[ It's probably better to discuss this in person anyway. If this network was like the Internet back home, who knows who could be listening in. What if the Alphas were here? ] I'm in my 'suite' or whatever. It's like a stupid tree house for adults.

[ She's grumpy, big brother, apologies in advance. ]

Give me the address.

[saviormaiden]

[ Talkative as always. ] It's— [ Checks. ] WO-2D.

[garou]

[ He freezes. ] You're kidding. [ But then he's hanging up, and not even two minutes later, he's walking in her door without knocking. ]

[saviormaiden]

[ She raises a brow to that and sighs when he hangs up. At least he seemed to be doing okay... physically. Cora doesn't like being confused.

But then there's a heartbeat at the door, a familiar scent, and she whirls around to see him just waltzing on in. Didn't their mother teach you to knock, Derek? ] What's the—

[ Then she pauses, sniffing again and stepping closer to him. It's not right. ] You're... you're still an Alpha?

[garou]

Last I knew you were still dying. [ He huffs, crossing his arms. He believes it, now, that it's her. The scent is still the same, her body language, everything. It's her, there's no doubt about that. ] What do you mean, I'm still an Alpha?

[saviormaiden]

[ She's surprised by that. No, that's not... He wasn't lying though. He hadn't before either, from what she could hear via the device.

He at least believed it. ] You... You were healing me, and you ended up giving up your Alpha spark to save me.

[ She looks down for a moment, then back up. ] You were a Beta again the last I saw you.

[garou]

[ He frowns, brow furrowed. Stiles and Isaac both had mentioned something about time being weird, here, about people not knowing things they should know, and vice versa. ] You're okay?

[saviormaiden]

I'm fine. Thanks to you. [ She gives the tiniest, briefest of smiles.

Cora sighs and tucks some of her hair behind her ear. ] What was the last thing that happened for you? [ She's believing the 'two months' thing more now. Especially if he was still an Alpha, and still thought she was poisoned. ]

[garou]

The hospital. [ He crosses the room and moves to sit down, folding his hands, raising them up to his face. ] Je--The darach knocked me out. I woke up here.

[saviormaiden]

[ She watches him sit down and after a moment follows him. Cora sits on the arm of the chair next to him. ] I see. So I guess whatever brought us here can mess with time.

[ She pauses and looks down at him, raising a hand up to gently place it on his shoulder. ] I know. About the darach. I'm sorry.

[garou]

[ He flinches, and he doesn't hide it because it's her. There'd be no point. ] It's fine.

[ That's a lie. ]

[saviormaiden]

[ She gives him a look, but it's softer than her usual ones. ] You don't have to pretend around me.

[garou]

I'm not pretending. [ He glares up at her, but it's not as harsh as usual. He changes the subject. ] It wasn't her who brought us here, I've been reassured of that. Allison, Lydia, Isaac and Stiles are here, too.

[ Does his body flinch a little at the mention of Stiles? We just don't know. ]

[saviormaiden]

[ She'll drop it for now. What happened to Derek in the time(s, now, apparently) they'd been apart, she's still understanding. ] That's at least reassuring.

[ She doesn't really react to the names until he mentions Stilinski, and she wrinkles her nose a bit. ] Oh goodie.

[garou]

[ He pulls away from her enough to look at her. And he might be smirking a bit. ] Yeah?

[saviormaiden]

[ He's getting such a look. ] Please. I've done enough puking for one lifetime already.

[garou]

Uh huh. [ Still giving her that smirk. ] Anyway.

[ He grows a little more serious. ] The... Emperor. The one who was bringing us here, originally. She was murdered, and if she couldn't send us home...

[saviormaiden]

He's not my type. [ She rolls her eyes. You're not off the hook yet, Derek, but she'll accept some teasing. Anything except that grim face of yours.

Then he's serious again and she crosses her arms loosely. ] So there was a coup?

[garou]

I don't know. [ A sigh. ] There hasn't been much more information released.

[saviormaiden]

Released? [ She sounds incredulous. Why are you talking like it's the freaking White House? ] Why should we even care? We need to get back home.

[garou]

[ Because it might as well be. ] Cora, there is no way home.

[ He stands up abruptly, turning to face her. ] None. We're trapped and there's nothing we can do about it.

[saviormaiden]

[ And that pisses her off. ] So you've been sitting on your ass for two months? Don't you remember what's going on back home?

[ She knows she shouldn't say it, but all her frustrating from the Alphas, to being poisoned, then to this mess just bubbles up. It's not Derek's fault, but she's just lashing out. It's a Hale thing. ] Am I the only one that remembers Boyd?

[garou]

[ Derek goes still, jaw set, nostrils flaring, and he crosses his arms after a moment. When he speaks, he's quiet. He's already had this conversation with Isaac, sort of. It still hurts. ] I will never forget what happened to Boyd and Erica and if you think I haven't tried to find a way out of here, you're wrong.

[saviormaiden]

I— [ She sighs and rubs at her forehead, looking down for a moment. Cora takes a deep breath to calm herself before she speaks again. ] I know. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to take it out on you.

[ She looks up at him again. ] I just hate feeling helpless. I was sick and couldn't help you, now I'm here and—
