I guess I should start off saying happy New Year. Even if it feels strange saying that. [Stranger still that she's been here this long.]

I don't really do New Years resolutions myself. If people want to change, they should do it. Not because it's some sort of gimmick. Besides as strange as it sounds this is the most normal I've ever really had.

[She sighs.] I should probably stop waiting for the other shoe to drop.

It did at first. But everyone dies, and someone else I know confirmed it so-- [What could she do but eventually accept it. She doesn't want to die. She fought like hell to not die. But there's not much she can really do except try and live her life here.]
