I don't really do New Years resolutions myself. If people want to change, they should do it. Not because it's some sort of gimmick. Besides as strange as it sounds this is the most normal I've ever really had.

I agree that people should want to change for the right reasons and not because a calendar says so, but sometimes it can be a little thing like a certain date can be a good starting point! Like a birthday or an anniversary, or the new year...
