Am I the only one who thinks it's suspicious how, in the weeks around the Emperor's murder, our presence is suddenly graced with a pair of queens, a princess, a prince, and whatever that horned kid is?

It's not the first grouping I've noticed.

That does imply there is, of course, a bid for power set up or ordained somewhere along the way. Enough to warrant some investigation yet? It SEEMS they are confused as we were upon arrival, but of course that does not show what they are doing away from the public eye...

Well, yes, so they say. It causes one to wonder if the royalty here are a part of that powerplay indeed. Really royalty, I mean. The being himself IS skilled in changing shape, and with the Empress's magic gone...

I actually do not at all, though I apparently am the second version of myself to have been here. If anything, I SHOULD like to find out.

I've honestly no idea. Many of the skills most of the people brought here have I lack. I lead a small revolutionary cell at home, but that is hardly the kind of skill one would consider them wanting here.
