[Gene turns on the feed and is about to speak. He opens his mouth to say something, and then, quite suddenly - there is a large amount of snow coating his hair. And half the inside of his suite. Among the snow is a vast collection of random junk, including some Angry Birds robots and other things people may recognize as once belonging to an absentee trickster god.

Also there's a bloodhound. A bloodhound which is rolling around in the snow and saying indistinct things about entrails and murder. Standard stuff, really, for a bloodhound.

Gene closes his mouth, whatever he was about to say forgotten in the wake of this new fuckery. He looks back, taking in the scene behind him for a good five seconds, and turns back to the camera, his face a mask of utter, dangerous calm.]

Loki...

[He takes a deep breath. The mask of calm shatters when he yells:]

...what the fuck?!

[Deadpan:] People find it unsettling when I smile.

[It's a total lie, but people who knew him probably would find it unsettling to see him smile.]

Why? Do you give them creepy stalker smiles?

[He's only teasing Gene a little bit. Tony doesn't know him well enough to really think much of him other than he's a grumpy kid that knows Loki, but that doesn't stop him from trying to heckle a reaction out of him.]

Maybe you just need more practice.

[Gene smirks, which is usually about as close as he gets.]

Not exactly. But it's a rare sight. And there's not much to practice about around here.

No wonder he likes you. [Yeah. Totally creepy.]

All these people around and you have no one to practice on? Come on. You're just not looking.

There's a demon dog from the pits of hell setting all my stuff on fire.

I don't have too much to be happy about.

Maybe you can train it?

[Or not. But he's also not being eaten by said demon dog, so Tony doesn't have to rescue him and can default to jokes.]

[Yeah, let him just dial up Cesar Milan, is what he would say if he'd gotten to that particular nugget of pop culture. Alas.]

I have no experience with dogs. And I don't think that's suited for a beginner.
