[Gene turns on the feed and is about to speak. He opens his mouth to say something, and then, quite suddenly - there is a large amount of snow coating his hair. And half the inside of his suite. Among the snow is a vast collection of random junk, including some Angry Birds robots and other things people may recognize as once belonging to an absentee trickster god.

Also there's a bloodhound. A bloodhound which is rolling around in the snow and saying indistinct things about entrails and murder. Standard stuff, really, for a bloodhound.

Gene closes his mouth, whatever he was about to say forgotten in the wake of this new fuckery. He looks back, taking in the scene behind him for a good five seconds, and turns back to the camera, his face a mask of utter, dangerous calm.]

Loki...

[He takes a deep breath. The mask of calm shatters when he yells:]

...what the fuck?!

[Amelia has taken a moment to compose herself before turning on her own console in response; truly the sudden appearance of a pile of snow containing an assortment of items, as well as what appears to be a dog is cause for shock. Still, she thought better of you, Gene.

I hardly think that sort of language is necessary, Mr. Khan. Even given the... unusual circumstances surrounding its use.

[Of course, even for Amelia the curiosity is too great, and after a moment it overcomes her.]

Is that dog mumbling about dismemberment? [For Amelia, the talking dog is less shocking than the subject upon which it seems to be muttering.]

[Well, fuck. He did just drop an F-bomb on an open mic. Which means. OH GOD BIANCA PROBABLY HEARD HIM TOO. He does his best to look shamefaced. His best is not very good.]

I was...caught off-guard.

[He looks back at Thori, who is spouting an occasional gout of fire and melting the snow in the suite.]

Uh, yes. Yes it is. When it's not trying to burn my suite down.

Understandable. [She still doesn't approve though.

She's eyeing that dog quite warily; it seems to be smoking a little now.]

You may wish to get that beast under control.

[On the plus side her spider-sense will probably help keep her away from the evil, fire breathing, furniture destroying dog from hell by telling her before she can even see it.]

[Reiner really had meant to properly reach out to Gene. He was still adjusting to this new technology, but getting better at it. But then the snow had suddenly been dumped to it, angry bird robots et all, and there was a dog rolling around, and really the scene is just way too absurd.
