Well someone here has completely dropped the ball. I know there are at least a few people around who are rich and Earth-savvy enough to get everyone presents for the month. Maybe celebrate the break from so much cold or the coming of good fortune or something like that. We could use a celebration right about now.

At the very least, I'll try to do my part. [Tony gives the network a winning smile and holds up a small, strange-looking flower playfully. It almost makes the next part sound more like a joke than any real offer.] I've got a few too many of these, so if anyone would like to take them off my hands, I'll be happy to give you a discount.

And if you're available, Miss Frost, I'd love to spend some quality time with you. If your schedule will allow it, of course.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm personally missing my chocolate.

They won't notice if you're careful about it, unless that's beyond your capability. It depends on what you're after.

Fair enough. I'm not exactly a trained spy, though. Usually interrupting networks in my town goes up with a bang.

I'm after his weapons. Whatever he plans on using. That doesn't sound too hard, right?

Not everyone's good at subtleties.

His weapons are probably based in magic moreso than shooting a gun or something, considering the method he tried to use in killing the turtle. But it would be useful if we could figure out more about that.

That's true, but we've only got what we've got. We might have to be less than subtle to get things done.

Yeah. If only we had more magic experts on our side. Maybe if we find out what kind of energy he's using, we can work on a way to counter it.

It would depend on what the situation called for. It still requires some kind of preemptive plan.

If that's what the woman wants, at least.] The magic here doesn't necessarily work like others' magic, and Mally isn't of this world originally either. But given his homebase, so to speak, is Death, he probably draws his power from it somehow too.

Of course it does. And we won't have a plan until we start putting that together. It's easier to be prepared when we can work freely on it and stop second-guessing ourselves.

He's not from here; we're not from here. Maybe we should see what our powers can do. We won't know unless we try, right?

We'd probably need several different plans, options. But putting the information out there and gathering what we do know is a good start.
