Video; Joint post dated March 22nd
[The feed turns on to show Korra, smiling a deviously broad smile (those who know her probably know that smile means she’s up to something) and she holds a finger up to her lips before she whispers.]
Okay you guys. I need you to tell Mako that the network doesn’t actually bite and he can use it to talk to people.
[Then she turns around and happily exclaims:] Oh good, the tea’s ready. Thanks, Mako. See, isn’t he a gracious host? [That grin she has on is sinful.]
W-- Korra, turn that off.
[he sets the tray down pointedly, looking between her and the console, obviously caught off guard and not sure what to do]
In a minute. [Not even a minute, she fully plans to keep it on as long as possible.] Why don't you come over here and try it? [Not that she's giving him a choice since she's taking both cups of tea over to the console.]
I already told you I know how to use it. [he sits down, and focuses on her] We could've kept this conversation between us, c'mon, turn it off.
[and then he turns to the camera to give it an Intense Mako Stare (tm).]
We were talking about the network, so we should include the network. [She says it like it's the most practical, logical thing in the world.] So anyone who doesn't know, I'm Korra and this is Mako. He's been here for months but none of you probably recognize him because he never uses the network. So feel free to say hi to him! [Totally treating him like a new arrival. She's not sorry at all. Feel free to bug Korra too.]
(OOC: Maroon font=Mako and Baby Blue font=Korra.)

video
I am not.
video
[She facetiously brushes him off.] So what're you guys up to?
video
Getting tea. Or we were.
video
video
Since he never actually posts to the network, I thought we could give it a shot and see how it goes. [And she's going to keep making him use it until it works out.]
video
video
[It's your girlfriend, don't be rude.]
video
I'm cool. I'm chill.
Re: video
Good, I thought we might have to stop this short if you weren't. [One end of her lips curls up.]
video
video
I'm an adult and I can take a little ribbing. Geez.
video
Sure you can. [uh-huh.] We're just having some fun. But let's do it right. You have any questions for him, Asami? Remember, treat it like the first day.
video
[She leans forward, hand supporting her chin on her desk. When she thinks of something, she drops her hands and asks earnestly,]
So what's your favorite color?
video
Re: video
I didn't know about green.
[Give him another, Asami. Korra's happy about hearing this new stuff.]
video
Only mildly. Whatever.]
I didn't either. Tell us your favorite thing to do at night when you don't have work the next morning.
video
Back home [pause] you know the big radio drama they've had running for awhile? Usually I'll listen to that. Here, I'll grab a book.
[he's not a partier]
video
The one that came on before the matches? [She's ready to see this book like Asami is.]
video
[She pauses.] Actually, I think I missed the finale for a showing of The Adventures of Nuktuk.
video
[he still thought the entire concept of Nuktuk was stupid, or at least, he was pretty sure he did, and he definitely didn't like Varrick, but...]
I guess I'll need to see it when we go home, too. It wasn't bad, even though Bolin's an Earthbender.
video
I'm pretty sure Bolin would be happy to play it out for us.

[She hasn't seen or heard the reviews, at all.]
