[There are a lot of things Tess could talk about, if she was inclined. Bad things, mostly. The kinds of things that keep her awake at night, and plague her with nightmares when she does manage to sleep. Things from back home, things from the bottle, things that are really Ellie's to tell and not hers at all.
Death and loss and violence, and more death.
But fuck that. She's got something way more important to talk about. Like her hair.]
I found a gray hair today. [She twists her face into an approximation of disgust.] Can you believe that? So now I'm wondering if I should just dye it. [She tugs on a lock of her mousy brown hair - shinier and healthier than it was when she first showed up, that's for damn sure, but otherwise not particularly notable.]
But I don't remember the first thing about it. Anybody got tips for me? Or is it a shitty idea and I should forget it?

[The voice is very soft and shy, but there's conviction there.]
voice;
Should I? Why should I do that?
voice;
Because it's a sign that you're getting older.

Not today! Why don't you go ahead and do that, mysterious stranger?

You don't think there are more pressing concerns?

Smart words. There aren't many who take things so frankly any longer.

[Milla strokes her chin just a bit.]
Does it bother you to grow old?
video;
[Man, the people here are weird.]
Maybe a little. It's a reminder that I'm that much closer to dyin'.
[Which Tess finds kind of amusing, actually, given that she... already... died.]
video;
[She smiles calmly. It's not a face of pity or judgment, but understanding.]
video;
I never said anything about frailty. I can still kick the ass of any man twice my size and don't you ever think otherwise. Gray hair or not.

gray hair means youre smart. leave it.
[ though sort of hypocritical— Bro doesn't like the fact he's out of his 20's now even. Probably why he still acts like a reckless teen. ]
