It's the first progress I've had in years. And I figure the stronger Asti gets, the more willing he is to share the wealth.

Our enemy has a physical body. It isn't some kind of nebulous dark force. That implies there's something we can strike at.

Now there's some good news. This why I can actually stab something.

Exactly. There are ways to hurt things which don't keep their body on this plane, but I can't think of much that damages something without a body.

Worth a shot. Seems they're the ones that made Mally before it killed all of them, which means that it's no god. That thing is just a construct with delusions of grandeur, and somewhere out there is a stone that helped make it.

Even a god can be destroyed with enough firepower. But it does suggest another weakness. The stone that made it might help un-make it. Anyone else tell you anything useful?

That's the idea. Unless it does something else. At which point we'll probably need a new plan.

[But Hawke's not going to think that far ahead. First thing's first.]

Just be careful around the people you might talk to. Reliable sources say that Mally might have his fingers around important people in the city, which explains more and more of the crazy going on honestly.

Not a clue. Mystic messages are never as specific as you want them to be.

No, but in my experience they tend to start acting crazy and laughing manically so that might help.

True, but I've known people to act crazy and laugh for no particular reason at all. Granted, for those people, I'd look at a personality change to 'reasonable, mature person'.

Maturity is overrated I hear.

For now we'll just have to try and trust each other.
