[It's Yelena, here with a quick question. She has a somewhat harried look about her, and she doesn't look like she's slept well with the bags under her eyes, but it doesn't make her any less alert.

That might be because of the coffee-like drink she's enjoying at one of the cafes in the Wood sector, but it's not what she's here to talk about.]

Just to be sure, no one has noticed any ghosts of people who aren't from Keeliai, right? That is, spirits of people who are definitely from their worlds instead of here, for instance?

Not yet, unless we count floating lights. [This is maaaybe more interested sounding than one would think prudent.] If there are spirits here from home, I think I would have noticed by now.

[Which makes her pause to think, actually; the djinn that had been hunting her over a year ago got shoved into another world, and even if it was locked away elsewhere....]

It might just be dead kedan, but keeping an eye out can't hurt.

[So much for avoiding that sort of subject here! Facepalm.]

With my luck, if there was a spirit from home here, it would have been after me. I pissed off a crazy cult a year ago. They sent a spirit after me, we managed to capture it and send it someplace else.

[A dank, strange and terrifying someplace else with grabbing horrors, that said, but still someplace else.]

[Sorry, Yelena! The solution they used isn't entirely replicable here. Also, Kitty cannot believe her life at times. Like right now. Saying all this to someone else? Makes it sound ridiculous.]

We used a protection spell to trap it, and then my friends used a spell they came up with to trap it in a jar.

The djinn was freed from the jar by another friend when we confronted the cult, and it and the priestess who summoned it ended up getting dragged into a box that probably goes into an eldritch dimension.

[Just probably, okay?]

I don't think there are any boxes like that around, [juust a bit of sarcasm there, mixed with an expression of 'thank God'] and I don't know what the spell my friends did, but I can help out by making the potion for the protective spell.

It makes a barrier that malevolent spirits can't cross. [It also smells awful, but she's not mentioning that.]

[Kitty's experience with magic consists of learning on the fly and 'let's hope this works even though it is makeshift as hell'. Sliced bread and herbal pill supplements are low on the chain of things anyone would think would work in a magical spell to vanquish a fairy, for example.]

It's no problem! I'll do it for free. Where's your suite? I'll meet you there after I collect the ingredients. I'm Kitty, by the way.

If you don't mind making it yourself, sure. [If Yelena can sense magic stuff or has any supernatural aspects to her, she's going to be in for an awful stench.]

It's made from dust from a ruin- something that's been knocked down or abandoned works- and animal blood. You should be able to get that from a butcher.

Just mix it together and sprinkle it around what needs to be protected.

[A pause.]

You might want to do it clockwise, because for whatever reason that's just how it's done.
