Hi everybody.

[ Jack's using a rare working console that he found, partly because he wants to test how they're functioning and because he feels this is important for people to see, that things can get back to normal. ]

I know we're all still finding our footing, but I had an idea to help us get on the right track.

Since our things that were in our houses seem to have, uh, wandered away, it'll be a good idea to make a central list of stuff that's missing. We can keep an eye out for each other's items.

Alternatively, if you've already found something and you don't know who it belongs to, you can bring it by the Welcome Center. I'm going to start rebuilding it... I think it's important that we keep having some kind of public representation in Keeliai.

They sure have, I've gotten a few things, and a someone, myself.

[ Though Baby Tooth has since returned home, Jack was grateful for the faerie's companionship for the past year. ]

I had a few someones myself, for a while here. It does seem reasonable that we could hope for things like that again.

Yeah, that sounds great. I'm missing a little figurine that looks like it's part of a nesting doll set, and a heavy book, that's got writing of Foreigners who used to be here and have left. I was keeping a sort of running record of us.

Ah,yes. You were in charge of the welcome center and a good deal of the efforts to band together. I will certainly look for both. I hope they might be found. Perhaps someone has saved them as a curiousity, the way some things are after wars. It's possible after all.

Thanks, Enjolras. I think they'll turn up, it's not like they're usable to anyone else.

I do hope so. Those are important records and I will at least do my level best to keep an eye out. I appreciate your help in turn, of course.

If there is anything else to be done now, either before this, or later too, I would like to help as I can. The work I'd thought to be doing must be put aside, and I would welcome doing anything useful for those of us still here.

I can definitely use some help sorting out the Welcome Center, if you've got time. I can even pay you a little for it, though probably not as much as you're used to.

I certainly do have the time, yes. I do not think the hospital will especially be fond of me coming back at the moment. Actually, at that, while I am helping you with tidying and organizing and the like, I could take care of minor injuries that people may have here. I've not been able to learn much, but it would save someone making a trip to the hospital for stitches or a sprain or something. I think...especially right now, until we've had the chance to become peaceful with the new kedan order, having somewhere to do that sort of thing might help.

Ah...in other words, I'd certainly like to help with that.

I heard about the hospital, yeah. I mean, I wouldn't have expected a major facility like that to sit empty, especially since they didn't think we were coming back, but the way I heard they're running it...

[ The spirit shakes his head, sure that Enjolras knows his train of thought there. ]

You can come by any time, there's lots to do. You know where it is, right?

[Enjolras does not need to clarify on the point, and he clearly sees that now, so he won't elaborate on that too much just now.]

I suppose they seen no foreigners these days, so someone who knows how most foreigners twitch...[No, that's the wrong word, isn't it? He thinks for a moment there.]

Ah sorry, it's to do with clocks...tick. I suppose they do not have need for someone who knows human medicine then, and I am not sure if there were many people who knew how to treat others working there before, but the lack of option of that is a bit worrying now, and I doubt they will see it as an oversight to be repaired now.

[It does make sense, but it IS less than ideal. That said, something to distract him from thinking too much about that is a relief.]

I do yes. I would be glad to do that. Is tomorrow too soon?

Well, Milyn seems to still be on our side, so that's something. She must be good at what she does, if she has the Cherrywood title. Plus there's a few of us Foreigners that are healers. I think most of the non-magical doctors have gone home a while ago though, like Doctor Soranik and Doctor McCoy.

Not too soon at all, I've been staying there with Zatanna, since our house got repossessed.

She is, rather. She did help all of us through our time in the Dreaming. I think we might have been a lot worse off had she not been there to see to us. And yes, the magical sort are good, better actually. I hope Raine is still with us too. She is quite good at what she does. But no, I am not sure that there are any ordinary doctors about either. My Etienne was a doctor, and our friend Joly, but they've both been gone for a number of months too. I did help at the clinic Etienne ran and I've learned...a few basic things along with what I picked up at our last stop over. It is not much but I can help as needed if it is not something life threatening.

[That prompts a terrible mental image in which the new situation leads to that being an actual problem, his lack of ability, but so far, he reminds himself, the kedan have not shown signs of that even if foreigners are not exactly anyone's favorite people right now. ]

Then I will be there. I would offer some help with somewhere to stay, but I am at the hotel myself, for now.

I saw Raine right after we woke up, so she's definitely still here.

[Enjolras is definitely sighing with relief at that.]

She will either fix things there herself, or come up with some kind of a solution, somehow. Raine can be quite determined and very good with things like that.
