25 ❄ ( VIDEO )
Hi everybody.
[ Jack's using a rare working console that he found, partly because he wants to test how they're functioning and because he feels this is important for people to see, that things can get back to normal. ]
I know we're all still finding our footing, but I had an idea to help us get on the right track.
Since our things that were in our houses seem to have, uh, wandered away, it'll be a good idea to make a central list of stuff that's missing. We can keep an eye out for each other's items.
Alternatively, if you've already found something and you don't know who it belongs to, you can bring it by the Welcome Center. I'm going to start rebuilding it... I think it's important that we keep having some kind of public representation in Keeliai.

My stockings are no where big enough for all the coal Santa would've had for me.
Re: video

Santa's gotten mean in his old age.
Re: video
It's not like you could have done anything with the coal anyway. How many places still burn that stuff?
video
I mean, I get we come from different worlds and all, but I would have thought they had barbecue grills in yours.
[Yes, he was the spirit of winter, but some people still grilled during the colder months!]
Re: video
Zatanna, coal and charcoal aren't the same thing. Yes, we have barbecues.
video
What's the difference?
Re: video
[ a pause, and then since she's probably wondering where he pulled all that from: ]
People have made their own charcoal for a really long time, long before they started digging up fossil fuels. People used to make their own charcoal so they didn't need to buy it.

Look who's suddenly a walking wikipedia article about burning things.
I would've thought your expertise on the subject would have been limited to frostbite.
Re: video
[ But he does concede it was a bit of an odd thing for him to know. ]
Does this mean there's a winter barbecue in the near future?
video
I mean, it's not often you have a certifiable charcoal expert on hand.
[Plus, the idea sounded nice.]

And tell me about it. Soon as we all get a bit more settled in, I say we commandeer parts of the beach for a night.
Re: video
Winter bonfire?

Winter bonfire.
