[She's settled in a bit more, gotten a little more used to the idea of being stuck on one world. However there was still a bit of a problem. She could use corridors to get around without going outside in theory, but she barely knew this place at all. It was a problem.]
Does anybody know where to get warmer clothes? The last store I went into asked me to leave.
[Sure it was the place that she'd dropped into to try to warm up just after arriving but one of the things she'd heard by now was that relations with the locals were... strained at the moment. It was all a little over her head but she got the overall meaning of it: don't expect to be welcome.]

[ Someone, thankfully, has been to just about all the warm clothing stores in the city, courtesy of being really grouchy about the cold. ]
What Sector are you in?

Context clues are wonderful things and she thinks (?) she gets the jist of it but still. That's a new one.]
I'm not sure where I am. I'm at that hotel [um...] The Midnight Hotel.

[That's... the currency here right? Now that she's thinking about it, and given the other comment about Munny not being accepted, she vaguely remembers something like that being mentioned after she'd gotten here.]
No, not yet.

[Which... would be the only kind of currency she's actually familiar with. Hm.]
Is there a Moogle shop around here?
[They would take Munny... and while they might not sell clothes they would probably know how to get some. Or how to get some of the right kind of money. Moogles were smart when it came to business like that. Maybe there were Heartless here that dropped it?]
Re: [text]
[Zel had figured that out. Metal was precious enough on the Turtle that even if the coins had no value as currency, a few smiths would buy them. At less than what they were worth, mind you]
Moogle shop?
[was that a word he just didn't know. What did a moogle shop sell?]
[text]
[Munny came in orbs more than anything... it was hard to say what it was actually made of.]
They're shops run by Moogles. We used to have one back at the castle. It sold potions and spells and things. It was really helpful.
[And they took Munny.]

[This is turning into slightly uncomfortable territory, remembering her own insecurities on the night it'd happened. But then again, the first responder had mentioned that all of the kedan were like this, which meant she wasn't the only one being treated like this which meant... what exactly? She wasn't sure.]

[That... matches up better with what she's heard. And it helps a bit to undo the knot of anxiety in her stomach. To actually have a solid explanation to put to it, besides the one her paranoia had been providing.]
But... why would that make anybody feel good?

Huh?
I don't think I understand.
[voice]
Sorry. I... I didn't realize.
[voice]
Hey, you don't have to apologise for it. It's not the first time that's happened, though it is the first time I bothered mentioning it.
What's going on with you?
[voice]
Well, um...
[There's a slight pause before she continues]
It's been... really cold out. Last time I was out there I got some... frostbite, I think it's called? So... I wanted to find something warmer, before I went out again too much.

And after a couple minutes there's a very quiet, timid reply]
Sorry.
I...
I'm just trying to find warmer clothes. Since it's so cold.
Perma-Video
I can get you some if you haven't gotten any offers yet.
Perma-voice!
Ah- Y-you really don't have to. I can figure something out.

I really don't want to bother anybody.
[She's way too shy to ask a question like that. Asking how to get a thing herself is one thing. Asking others to give something to her is another entirely.]
Besides, text is rather cold and toneless.
Her voice is gentle when she speaks .]
If you'd like, I can lend you my coat for when you want to go out. It's a bit shabby, but serviceable enough, and perhaps when we have juulan ourselves we can go out together and get warmer clothes.

She watches cautiously, like a stray cat that's been fed a few times and knows that someone is probably trustworthy, but is still cautious nonetheless]
I...
okay. If... if you're really okay with it.
