[Console] Video
[Her emotions linger somewhere between worried and pissed off and this is clearly visible on her face. as the camera focuses on her. She takes a deep breath, trying to keep the red from bleeding into her eyes, but if one looks closely, they will be able to see that her normal emerald green eyes are slightly more brown in color as they are stuck somewhere between the two colors.]
It seems that not all of Malicant's influence is gone from Tu Vishan. [she takes a deep breath] I spoke with someone who claimed to be one of his worshipers. Now I know that claiming to be one and actually being one are two different things, but I spoke with this person after they attempted to steal a soul gem.
[She presses her fingers to her forehead and closes her eyes, as if trying to warn off a headache]
For those of you who remember the cultists, you know how dangerous they were. [she lowers her hand and opens her eyes, which have returned to their emerald state] This person claimed that 'her people' made a deal with 'someone in this very city'. She also warned that they 'haven't forgotten Malicant' and that we foreigners would 'pay for killing him.' Either the cultists are connected with the muggings, or someone wants us to believe that they are. Either way, someone is using Malicant's name to gather power.
[another breath]
This, paired with other recent events, leads me to believe that it is not the Chihuelans that are responsible for the muggings. Something else is going on here.

Over here. [She called, moving from the console when he entered the Hotel and heading toward a corner of the common room.]

I hope I didn't keep you too long. [ Not that he actually cared about that but ti was better than 'get straight to it.']

[ He spoke as he looked to her. ]

During the meeting at the Midnight Hotel, we were attacked by Cultists. That was my first encounter with them. They were fanatical, not caring for their lives at all. All they cared about was wounding us with their Tainted weapons.

So, do continue.

We fought fiercely but were eventually forced to retreat back into the Hotel. We expected the cultists to follow us, but they dispersed instead. From that moment on, they would show up occasionally, but it wasn't until after Evandau's murder that they became truly bold, moving more openly throughout the city than before.
It took some time for us to realize it, but Malicant had possessed Tu Vishan, the great turtle. Wan and I worked together to possess the turtle and try to force him out. We failed, but we did manage to gain the information we needed to destroy Malicant. The Cultists had other plans however and attacked us in force.
Dante led had led a group to distract the cultists from Wan and I, but they somehow found us at the Turtle's Head and tried very hard to destroy us...
[she sighed]
I thought that perhaps they had been brainwashed by Malicant and that since he was gone, so was his power over them, I guess I was wrong.

Something had to of been overlooked. My brother, for all of his faults is a heavy hitter, he does not pay attention to subtle clues. And you and Wan must have had your hands too full to notice if anything was over looked... added with the year sleeping... and that alone is strange. What had the power to make such a group sleep for a year.
[ He looked over to her.] Tell me more about the turtle.

[It was interesting though, had it been Milyn's drug that had trapped them in the Dreaming or had it been something else?]
I'm afraid I can't tell you much about the Turtle. He is old and his mind is far beyond our understanding. I do not believe he is dead as Malicant told us. I believe it was he who gave us the information we needed to defeat our enemy.

I do not know but maybe we should venture to the turtles head sometime and see if we can find anything.

[she shook her head]
But I don't have the time. I need to focus on drawing the cultists out...Dante didn't believe that they were gone...I should have listened...

[ He looked back to her then.] If you wish, I will help you draw them out. Help finish the work you both started, in his sted.

[If it came down to it, she would be using her Death Magic and she didn't want anyone else to be caught in it. But hadn't she just been lectured on fighting alone?]
But as long as you stay out of my way, I don't see why you can't help.

[ His well being was the last of his concern.]
It sounds like a plan. Whenever you decide to go just let me know.

If this is all I should leave you to the rest of your evening. [ he's just not good with people. ]

[She was done, so she stood and turned to walk away. She knew Dante wouldn't approve, nor would Anton, Wan and Raine, but she didn't care. The cultists were too much of a threat.]
