Because the consoles are still the primary means of communication, and using them will establish a precedence and an expectation on the part of anyone trying to spy. In addition, if they believe the radios are the more reliable source of information, it creates opportunities for us.

[Anton nods, his brow furrowing. For a man used to action, that sort of distraction could be fatal at worst, unnerving to the point of undoing at best. It isn't funny at all.]
