[voice]
I was wondering...how many other people here can speak other languages?
[But then, she paused and there was a slight jostling of the camera as she shook her head. Sorting out her thoughts.]
No, not speak. That doesn't really help any, with everything always being translated for us. More like...read. I was wondering...what languages everyone here can read? Since written words have never been translated. Not since I've been here.

Voice;
It's more than enough, really. It's an important skill.
[Only child will pause here. ]
...Because brothers us a lot of clothing?
Voice;
More like three brothers meant a lot of bumps and scraps to fix.
I mean, I suppose sisters would have been the same. [If they'd been anything like her growing up.] I just never had any, so I can't say.
Voice;
Still, it had to be nice, having them around.
Voice;
[She was only mostly joking.]
But the baby...Michel...we were close. I practically raised him since he was born.
Voice;
Voice;
Not all of the brothers and sisters in our neighborhood were that close, but the ones that were...you couldn't pry them apart with a crowbar.
Voice;
I had Chloé. She's not my sister, though. She was the only friend I had before I started school this year, so she still means a lot to me.
[Even if she's...not quite the person he knew her as. He's still a little concerned over that.]
Voice;
I had someone like that once.
She...we came from different times, but grew up with a lot of the same hardships. I even knew her real brother for a little while. Before she went back home...she told me I was like a little sister to her.
[Someone who she hadn't known in the past, but who had also changed. Although, in Eponine's case...perhaps for the better.]
Voice;
Voice;
I'd never had a big sister before. Never really had a mother, either. So it was...nice.
[An older female influence. One who was able to talk to her about the important things in life, and stand up for her (publicly) when said important things in life were being a 12-year-old asshat to her. (No, really, she called him out over the Network. It was great.)]
Voice;
It sounds really nice. I'm glad you had the chance for it.
Voice;
I'm glad you did too.
[With the other friend he mentioned. The one who sounded like she could have been like a sister to him.]
Voice;
Yeah. I guess I was pretty lucky.
