I'm going to need someone to explain the metrics of this place without mentioning the giant turtle. Before you ask; yes, I have seen it. Though seeing it does little to convince me of its authenticity. I'd never get very far if I took everything at face value.

No. If it's science then I expect an explanation for it. Telling me it's magic will just irritate me. My job requires that I be able to explain things exactly as they happened.

I know several systems that people here call "magic" that have rules and laws unto themselves, and are essentially scientific disciplines.

As I am not a student of those systems, I couldn't explain their intricacies. You'd have to ask those who study them. However, I have lived here almost the longest out of any of the Foreigners, and would be happy to answer your questions about Keeliai and Konryu.

I'm curious as to what your job is. Precision in all matters is important...though perhaps unwillingness to embrace new ideas is a hindrance here.
