I'm going to need someone to explain the metrics of this place without mentioning the giant turtle. Before you ask; yes, I have seen it. Though seeing it does little to convince me of its authenticity. I'd never get very far if I took everything at face value.

I rarely talk to people outside of business as it is anyway. The only reason I'd ever need to speak with the victim's directly would be if they didn't know the cause of their death.

seriously though, get in touch with the police force. foreigners don't stay dead, but everyone else does. it's a big city. murders and accidents happen.

there's a kid around here who does detective work too, you should talk to him. maybe you can work together. you'd be like a quirky buddy cop duo. [A misanthrope and a precocious elementary schooler solve crimes together? It's the perfect set-up for a TV show!]

Why would that hurt my feelings? I'd say that, if on the off-chance he is a better detective than I am, that is a trait to be nurtured. God knows the world could use more of us that are actually good at our job.

I like your attitude. you'd be surprised how many scientists turn down a collaboration when it means they'd have to co-author with a kid. [Joke's on them! Tony's career left all theirs in the dust before he even turned eighteen!]

My partner writes a blog about our cases but I wouldn't say John's writing is ready for mass print. Way too many over uses of the comma.

Of course not. I'm far too busy with my work. I may occasionally publish my research findings but romanticizing things is John's talent. My only interest is in the truth.
