I'm going to need someone to explain the metrics of this place without mentioning the giant turtle. Before you ask; yes, I have seen it. Though seeing it does little to convince me of its authenticity. I'd never get very far if I took everything at face value.

It'd be extremely difficult to avoid science. There are many different kinds but introduction to any kind is sparked by curiosity. You say that you observe the world-but it's not enough to just observe-you have to question. "What makes the ocean blue? Why is grass colored green? What would happen if I mixed these two things together."

The answers to all of these is found through the proper application of science.

I know why the ocean is blue. It is because it reflects the sky. I think grass being green has to do with the sun and weather, as it becomes brown and dry when there is less sun and rain.

But I do ask questions. I was not allowed before, but here I can.

So I am doing science, yes?

If you are pursuing these answers through your own experimentation and observations then yes, in effect you are 'doing science.' If you are interested in the field of science then, once I've settled in a bit more, I'd be happy to teach you the basics.
