Now that I'm much better acquainted with this place I will be opening my own consulting detective business. The basis of my operation is this:
If you have an interest in consulting me then there are a few things to keep in mind.
On that that note, with my work it is likely I'll be far too busy to keep up the apartment and all the shopping. If you would like a job as a house keeper you may apply below, however there are a few key traits I'm looking for in any potentials.
-Sherlock Holmes
[ This time, he's signed it with his full name just to the gauge the reaction to it. ]
- 1. If you have an interesting problem that you cannot solve on your own then you may feel free to contact me and we'll discuss its potential.
2. Tell me in every detail possible about your problem. Leaving nothing out.
3. From the details you provide I will offer a deduction or decide if further investigation is necessary.
If you have an interest in consulting me then there are a few things to keep in mind.
- 1. I will charge all my clients the same amount. More money is not an incentive.
2. If you cannot afford the designated charge I am open to negotiating the price.
3. I won't waste my time on adultery cases.
4. I will not accept anonymous clients.

- 1. Must be able to follow orders.
2. Able to make tea and coffee
3. Willing to do the necessary shopping
4. A strong stomach, not at all squeamish
5. No sort of history involving the abuse (of any kind) of children.

[Conan grimaces. He had very reluctantly accepted that the magic so many of the others spoke of here was a legitimate force here. But that didn't mean that he liked it. ]
The worst so far was a riot a few months ago. It was set off by a chemical that fell from the sky in the form of black dust, and it increased aggression significantly in anyone who breathed it in.

[ He considers what the child is telling him-a powder like that could easily be a drug-there are several that heighten agression but then he knows very little about the what type of plants are native to this turtle. He'll have to look into it. ]
Was the cause of that ever discovered?

[ Sherlock has, by this point heard of the different gangs but no one had mentioned anything about the cultists to him. ]

I would like to meet the person in charge of the police here.
[ He states as he continues on walking. Perhaps it's because his thoughts are less on his surroundings and more on figuring out how he's going to quickly adapt to this place and it's customs, or maybe it's because he's usually seen as intimidating and doesn't bother to take notice of the people he passes on the street-either way he's taken by surprise when there path is suddenly blocked by a man weilding a knife. ]
[ He's not intimidated by the situation as much as he is just annoyed. Especially since the attacker had somehow managed to grab Conan in the ambush. ]
Put him down. [ He says, tone betraying just how annoyed he is. ] How exactly do you plan to rob anyone when your hands are full?

Conan doesn't reach for his watch. Not yet. He was curious to see what this Sherlock would do.
He cranes his neck up to see the attacker's face and speaks up with his most irritating childish mannerisms.]
Neh, Mr Criminal? What are you going to do now?

[ Thier attacker seems conflicted at first, trying to make sense of Sherlock's statement and process Conan's question. Sherlock waits with some amount of nervous energy just because he can't make a move until the man is properly distracted as to avoid injury being done to Conan. ]
[ The robber seems to have worked out his response and moves to point at the ground. Quicker than the assailant can process Sherlock grabs the hand with the knife and spins so that his own body is blocking the knife from Conan. He uses his free arm to throw his elbow into the ribcage of the attacker in order to get him to drop the child. ]
[ Once Conan is out of harm's way he twists his body and just manages to throw the attacker on the ground over his shoulder. ]

The next time you try something like that you might want to have a better plan of execution. And you might want to remember I now have your fingerprints.
[ For a moment the attacker seems to be considering his options but finally decides it will be less trouble to turn tail and run. ]
No one's ever tried to mug me before. How annoying. [ he turns to make sure Conan is alright and hasn't been snatched by some other annoying party. ]
Are you alright?
no subject
[Conan brushes himself off.]
I'm fine. Seems like you moved fast enough. Was that judo?
no subject
...Is that another similarity?

Hm. [ He makes a noncommittal noise instead before gesturing towards the walk way. ]
Shall we?
