[Fai is once again in the kitchen of the Midnight Hotel, this time wearing a plain old white apron instead of his frilly pink one (and of course, the ever-present eyepatch over his left eye). He's got his handset propped up on the counter and he's sitting with his elbows on the counter and his chin in his hands, and there's a book of some sort laying open between him and the screen.]

Hello again, everyone! I was wondering: how many of you out there like to cook? Or even if you don't really like it, how many of you have recipes you might be willing to share? [One hand drops down to pat the book in front of him] I'm trying to collect some new ideas for things to make.

Even if you can't really remember the exact recipe, if you know the basic ingredients I might be able to work off of that! And I'd be willing to share the results, of course~

I didn't think much about it at the time, so I don't remember exactly what it said--hold on!

[The image in the video tilts as Fai picks up the handset and starts wandering out of the kitchen, and Raine is treated to a long shot of walking through the Hotel. After a moment the image pauses in one place, and then Fai reappears looking bemused.]

It says you and Klaus aren't supposed to cook together?

[Oh, drat. Raine frowns slightly.]

The original holder of the Midnight Hotel took some objection to the two of us experimenting together in his kitchen.

[Just because they were trying to make progress with creative recipes...]

Oh? Why is that?

[ruinsprofessor]

[Raine gently clears her throat.]

He thought we experimented a bit too much, I suppose.

[Just because it was a little burnt...!]

Oh.

[Fai rolls his eye and waves a hand dismissively]

Bah, there's never too much! We'll be fine. Just come on over whenever you want to try something!

[ruinsprofessor]

[Oh! Good. Raine beams quite suddenly.]

[She knew she liked Fai for multiple reasons.]

Yes, that's an excellent mindset with which to approach life. I'll let you know before I do come over.
