flowrite[Fai is once again in the kitchen of the Midnight Hotel, this time wearing a plain old white apron instead of his frilly pink one (and of course, the ever-present eyepatch over his left eye). He's got his handset propped up on the counter and he's sitting with his elbows on the counter and his chin in his hands, and there's a book of some sort laying open between him and the screen.]
Hello again, everyone! I was wondering: how many of you out there like to cook? Or even if you don't really like it, how many of you have recipes you might be willing to share? [One hand drops down to pat the book in front of him] I'm trying to collect some new ideas for things to make.
Even if you can't really remember the exact recipe, if you know the basic ingredients I might be able to work off of that! And I'd be willing to share the results, of course~

February 27th, 2017 00:22flowrite[The video opens with Fai standing outside in the streets of Keeliai, in the Central district not far from the Midnight Hotel. He's grinning at the camera like a giant dork. Probably because he is a giant dork. The video is shot so that not much shows beneath the collar of his coat.]
Kuro-pu~~
[There is a gruff, Kurogane-type voice in return.]
What is it, darling?
[Fai ducks his head to the side a little.]
Aww, Kuro-cutie always says the sweetest things~
[There is something tiny and stifled that might be a giggle, but it's certainly not coming from Fai. The voice that answers is again the deep, gruff voice of the ninja.]
Kurogane might be the sweetest, but Fai is the cutest~ ♥
[There's a heart audible in that voice. There should not be audible hearts.
The giggle can no longer be stifled, and out of Fai's coat pops a small white creature with long ears, a cheerful expression, and a red jewel in the middle of its forehead.
...Mokona is laughing. A lot. Actually they're both cracking up pretty badly.]

flowrite[The video switches on to the sight of a pretty man with an eyepatch and a mop of blond hair, grinning and waving back at the camera. He's wearing what looks like a slim black kedanese suit, which shows off just how skinny he is, and... yes. That's a frilly pink apron over the suit.]

I suppose I should introduce myself, shouldn't I? My name is Fai. I'm new to this world--it's nice to meet everyone! Well, sort of. [He laughs] It looks like I'm going to be helping in the kitchen at the Midnight Hotel for a while, and a little bird told me today is Valentine's Day. We didn't have Valentine's Day where I'm from, but my companions and I learned about it during our travels and I rather like the idea. So~~
[He turns the handset toward the room behind him--it's the kitchen of the Midnight Hotel, and it's absolutely full of treats. Chocolate cakes, heart-shaped chocolates, cake pops... you name it, Fai's probably made it, and everything looks professionally-made and delicious. He starts speaking again without moving the camera back to himself.]
My chocolate fondant was quite a hit a few worlds ago, so I thought I'd see what I could whip up. But.... As you can see, I may have gone a little overboard. So if anyone out there needs a treat for a friend or a co-worker, or a sweetheart or a ~potential sweetheart~, please stop by! I'm not charging much, so everyone can afford what they'd like. And if you're nice I might take special requests~
