Gene does a lot of the cooking.

[Not all of it; it would be a full-time job, keeping up with the stomachs of three young adults, one of whom is a technologically-enhanced freak of nature with a metabolism like an Olympic swimmer.]

He actually likes it. His cooking is awesome. I never got the hang of it.

Well, I mean...I might cheat a little and use magic to mix the ingredients together, but I promise that everything I cook is 100% eye of newt free.

It was just me and my dad growing up, and he tended to pull some pretty late nights, so I learned how to cook for the both of us pretty young.

Well, he used to be. I mean, he's still world-famous and all, but he semi-retired from the stage so he could work full-time as a superhero.
