[Kyle is there ahead of time, dressed in a casual shirt and jeans. The foreigners' area is reasonably clustered so he's quite sure he's found the right shop. He hangs around outside, looking at the crowds passing by.

He checked up on the consoles looking for an Astrid so he'd know what she looked like - and noticed that she knew Olivia. Kyle had met Olivia and liked her, and felt a little more sorry for Astrid. It was hard when your friends didn't remember you, or remembered someone else.]

[Astrid, meanwhile, is punctual. She shows up exactly one hour later, in loose-fitting, slightly-too-large clothes. Her head's down and she's mostly avoiding people by spotting their legs and when she gets to the cafe she looks up with a bit of a deer in the headlights expression.

[Kyle follows and is glad she's chosen a quieter table. He's still trying to keep his head down - after all, there's only that many glowing green people with a power ring around.

He picks up one of the menus and hands it to her.] See anything you might want to eat? My treat.

[ She'll just. Hide behind the menu for a moment while she figures out what she would like to eat. It's Wednesday back home she should be having stir fry.]
