001 ≅ [TEXT] / [ACTION]
[TEXT]
[Donatello decides to stick with text, because he doesn't entirely trust himself not to give away his barely restrained panic right now if he tries anything else.]
So forgive me if this is a stupid question, but is there anywhere I can find a map or something?
...Or even a help center for the unfortunately half-drowned? Travel agency? A Guide to the City, perhaps? The welcoming committee was helpful, but not that helpful.
Thank you.
[He's pretty sure if there is a place to collect information - and they sure made it sound like this happened often, so he'd surprised if there wasn't - he could slip in and steal their pamphlets or...whatever it was they had, without too much trouble. Still. If there's an easier method, he'd prefer it. He didn't want to go venturing out into the open half-cocked and alone.]
[Speaking of...he'd given up audio, so he'd also given up the chance of one of his brothers recognizing his voice. He'd have to think of something-]
[Ah.]
And if there's a place that sells pizza, I could really go for that right now.
[Not perfect, but it would have to do.]

[ACTION]
[No matter what happens during the day, once it hits the darkest hours of the next morning Donatello is going to brave heading up to the roof of his building {ME-2A} in the Metal Sector and start poking around the area. He'll be sticking very close to home and keeping it quiet, but if your character might have the skills and inclination to notice an extremely nervous ninja turtle, then by all means!]
[He'll be distracted by the different constellations in the sky and occasionally be stooping to investigate the material the buildings are made of. He'll keep reaching up to check that his staff is still there. Don't get too close or he will probably try to smack you with it.]

What have you been doin-
[WAIT]
Hold on. What kind of food do they have here? The kedan obviously have some physiological differences from us, and if we're on a turtle then there are obviously some further discrepancies between our fauna and theirs-
[stop him raph]
no subject
There's normal food here. It's fine.
no subject
Oh. Well, how have you been getting it? I know I got some kind of currency from them - those juulan? [Though the image of Raph just walking up and buying something is really weird. The idea of having money at all is weird.]
You haven't tried collecting algae have you? Because that might be a bad idea until we know more about this place.

[GEEZ RAPH. YOU SHOULD KNOW HE CAN TALK ABOUT THREE DIFFERENT THINGS AT ONCE GEEZ.]
Then have you actually been working? Doing what? I don't think what they gave us would last long.
no subject
[Too busy looking for his brothers.]
no subject
Then how have you been getting food?

Fine, if you don't want to answer, we can figure it out later. Where did they put you? I'm in ME-2A.
no subject
I'm in the Water Sector. [It's actually been pretty nice having a place to himself.]
no subject
[He'd expected Raph to be...nearby for some reason.]
How far from here?
no subject
no subject
[THIS IS SO EXTREMELY DISTURBING, YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW RAPH.]
You're not going to head back, right?
no subject
Well- yeah, I was thinking about it. But if you need me to stick around...

[Raph rubs the back of his neck.]

And sighing
This wasn't going to get them anywhere]
Let's just go.

Who died and made you Leo?
[But he still follows Donatello over the rooftops back to his place. Yeah, a week without his family was a nice vacation, but toward the end of it he was starting to feel seriously lonely and isolated.]
