[ The audio clicks on and there's a long pause. When Kyle speaks, his tone is calm, perfectly controlled. It's his Business Voice, blank save for the barest hint of anger. ]

This is Kyle Rayner of the Green Lantern Corps. I apologise for the inconvenience, but our clinic at EA-3B is currently undergoing repairs and won't be able to take more patients at this time. We'll be temporarily operating a backup at WA-1A. [ He attaches a map, showing where it is. ]

Any and all hands with medical experience or healing abilities are always welcome.

[ Another long pause. ]

And if someone could come collect Avatar Korra, that would be appreciated.

[ There is a brief pause, as though he's debating what more to say, before the audio clicks off. ]

[ Forgive him for not leaping for joy; he had too much crazy from chasing down crazy cultists to be anything more than simply exhausted. If maybe a little mystified the Avatar could be this reckless. He expected her coming here to spell trouble for his attempts at building a better reputation.

Amon thought he would be jumping hoops to convince others what a nuisance Korra could be. This place was just full of surprises. ]

Your patients can be moved to my clinic until better arrangements can be made.

Though I would like it kept quiet where they're being moved- the buildings here are markedly more flammable.

Thanks. It'll only be for a few weeks.

[One of the things he can trust Amon with? It's the healing bit. Whatever other reason he may have for keeping his clinic open, at least he helps make people better.]

[ They can agree on that, much as it pains him to do so, at the very least while he retains his healing abilities he moves further out of the public eye. Any mishaps are now on Korra's head the farther he removes himself from her petty albeit destructive tantrums. ]

If she stormed the place looking for me, then I will keep the location of my own facilities a secret for the time being. Apparently it was common knowledge to anyone not looking to immolate it.

Still I will speak with her once she is on her feet.

[ He and pesky plucky teenaged protagonists went together like oil and water. ]

I'd admire your restraint, but I suppose giving our mutual friend what she wants sooner now than later is for the best.

[ Oblivious to Chief Bei Fong's earlier visit and the ensuing discussion therein, Amon came back to the clinic with his guard down for what was usual for him. Regardless he didn't expect this to go down without him coming into the picture, especially considering Kyle's comparatively unbiased curiosity about the story of where Amon fit into Korra's temper tantrum and the past between them. ]

Several patients have been made comfortable as possible at the other clinic, but I'm afraid I've come here to impose on their behalf. We're low on clean linens, and more importantly, a few necessities to keep the supply cabinet stocked.

[ He took one sweeping look around the place and noticed the furrows in the walls. ]

It seems you've repaired the worst of the damage.

[Kyle's a lot more relaxed, too. He's had time to process things - and while Amon shoulders some of the blame, Kyle also notes that this was probably coming. He expected a request to tour the facilities like a reasonable adult would, except what he'd gotten was an scared teenager with too much power and nowhere for it to go. It doesn't mean he's not still angry, in some part of him.]

Thanks. I'll scrounge up what I can - we've got some spares over at the other building.

[His gaze follows Amon's hand.]

Yeah. People stepped in. This happen to you a lot, back home?

[Curious, and slightly annoyed. He doesn't like it when people have to live in fear - Amon wouldn't have ended up in the corner he did if the government had just let him be open. But what government would, honestly, with a "threat" to their power?]
