[Merle had gotten out of her sticky situation with the help o Ororo and Damian... the sticky situation that had involved her getting kidnapped (with them) by a sorry group of kedan gang-bangers.

She had, needless to say, kept a much lower profile of late. She was in yet another cafe now, idly clicking through people's posts and such, when she comes across Billy's. Have one cat-girl, Billy.]

It's great here. Minus the whole kidnapping the foreigners part... they aren't exactly gentle about it. Don't wander around alone unless you want to invite trouble, especially in the Metal and Fire sectors.

Yeah, kidnapping… They had a festival to welcome us here and I got here on the last day of it. Apparently they went to each Sector and had a big party or something, but when they celebrated the last day… things got a little crazy. When the crowd gathered in the square, a gang leader took two of us… two foreigners, I mean, hostage. He was going to kill them to protest or something.
 
[She grows pale as she talks about it, ears pinning back against her skull as her eyes pin.]
 
Another kedan… an officer… he showed up and saved the two women before the gang member could hurt them. He… he cut off his head.
