[ The video feed loads and Mikey comes into view, frowning in concentration with his tongue sticking out. Computers are not his best subject. After about ten seconds he seems to realize that he's broadcasting and leans in, grabbing the console screen as if he can see everyone if he just gets close enough. ]

Uhhh... hello? This thing on?

[ He waves a two-fingered hand in front of the camera and sits back slightly. ]

So um, anyone know if this turtle gets DSL? 'Cause I gotta send a word back to my bros and I can't find the internet thingy on this computer.

[ Squinting at the console, a look of understanding dawns on his face. ]

Me? Nah. Some mutants used to live in the sewers, but most of us just kind of hang out on the surface. Just... Away from humans, most of the time.

[Santo kind of knows where this is going, since he had a conversation like this with Raphael before.]

Yeah, but only because we made our claim on it. Trust me, there are still plenty of guys that hate our guts.

[ And Mikey is genuinely sympathetic. He hates having to hide away in the sewers, acting like some kind of criminals. People would totally love the turtles if they got to know them, they just need to give them a chance! ]

[Santo kind of remembers Raph telling him that Mikey wanted to be up on the surface more. Or was he supposed to forget about that now.]

Kind of... But it's pretty fun getting to beat up the bad guys when they get in your face.

I don't know if you've noticed before, but he kind of has a bit of a temper. I mean, he's a pretty awesome guy, but scary awesome. I can handle keeping your mad skills on the down low.
