After about ten seconds he seems to realize that he's broadcasting and leans in, grabbing the console screen as if he can see everyone if he just gets close enough. ]

[ He waves a two-fingered hand in front of the camera and sits back slightly. ]

So um, anyone know if this turtle gets DSL? 'Cause I gotta send a word back to my bros and I can't find the internet thingy on this computer.

[ Squinting at the console, a look of understanding dawns on his face. ]

Take Mikey out in broad daylight and you'll both be dealing with a lot more than a few extra syllables.

[It's extremely rare for Leo to try to bludgeon compliance this way. He's feeling the strain of trying to wrangle TWO Michelangelos - one both incredibly devious and older than him - by himself. He doesn't even have Sensei for back-up on the daylight issue, and that's a basic thing that Splinter would come down on immediately - sure, they'd left during daylight hours, but only to rescue April. Leo's never had to enforce this particular discipline on his own authority. The fact that it really doesn't pose the same danger is not one Leo will adjust to easily, and he clearly has yet to accept it.

But at least the focus is away from his voice now. So... misdirection worked? Sorta?]
