[Hey Foreigners there is a cutie brunette on your screen right now. She’s tapping her chin a little thoughtfully, eyeing the camera] Okay, so I get the whole other realm, hi-you’re-on-a-turtle-and-also-there-are-computers thing. Which, weird – seriously, who expects the afterlife to be so high tech? Also, sorry about the possession thing, that must've sucked. But I have something a little more important to ask about right now.

[She leans back and gestures at herself. She’s wearing a green dress that, while it looks good on her, isn’t exactly appropriate for every day wear] Does anyone have clothes I could borrow? Pants, especially pants. You have no idea how long it’s been since I even saw a pair of jeans.

Other than that, does anyone know if there’s a dance club around here or something? I had a look around myself, but maybe someone who’s been here longer can help. There’s gotta be some place teenagers can go to let loose, right? [She winks, and reaches forward to turn off the camera when something else appears to occur to her]

Oh yeah! I’m A – Catty, I’m Catty. [She holds her hand up in a Vulcan salute] Greetings to my fellow inter-dimensional travellers. Especially those of you with pants.

[An expression of absolute, genuine innocence goes here] I don't think I'm dead. [She knows she is \o/] But dancing is pretty much a great idea like, eighty percent of the time, so.

Guess it's gotten me through a rough patch or two. Dunno if there's any place to go just to dance, though. Might be able to help you find something else to wear. Um...maybe. I'm still kinda new here, so I'm figuring everything out as I go.

Helping me find things to wear would actually be a thousand times better right now. I can't keep wearing my friend's clothes forever, cute as her style is. [Tilting her head a little] How new are you?

Been here a few weeks...or a month, maybe? I've kinda lost track. [She shrugs. Keeping track of days is hard when you're busy doing things.]

The thing is, I'm not sure where we'll find you new clothes or anything, but there's gotta be someplace that has something.

...If that's not long, how long is long?

[Catty doesn't seem too phased by that] Maybe I can help you, then! Apparently you can find clothes in the Earth sector.

I dunno, longer than that? Time's all kinda relative anyway.

[Trust her on this one, okay.]

And I don't need any other clothes, at least not right now. I've got a couple of things, enough to keep me looking decent for a while. [It kills her to say that. It really does, she used to love going to the shops and finding new things to wear.]

Time is a lake. [Catty says this happily, with the air of someone who's said it before] It exists all at once.

[Pouting] Come on, a girl can never have too many cute outfits.

Never heard it called a lake before. [She muses, eyebrows arching.] Heard it as a stream, or a river sometimes. Never a lake, that's a good one.

[She just shrugs after that, not saying anything about cute outfits. It's basically begging for Catty to insist one more time upon it, so she can cave in.]

[That gets a head shake.] I've heard that too, but that makes it sound like...you get in and you always come out down stream, you know? Things happen in an order. But they don't! So, time is a lake.

[Outfits for now getting pushed to the side because time travel]

[All that earns a very suspicious look from Rose. But it's a kind suspicion, one that someone uses when they're trying to figure someone interesting out.]

So...you know a lot about all this. Got a lot of experience going through time, then?

[Catty's hands drag at her face a little] Does it show?

Just a bit. [She pinches her fingers together to show just how easy it was to figure out.]

It's okay though! I've got experience with it too, it's not all that big of a deal or anything.

Oh - no, I mean, do I look old? [She laughs] We've been dragged into a whole different dimension here, I'm pretty sure that no one's going to try and dissect me for a little bit of time travel.
