[A blond, pony-tailed man with discerning blue eyes peers into the camera, pausing momentarily as though he expected something significant to happen. And then he raises his eyebrows and quirks one side of his mouth in a facial shrug, apparently deciding to move on despite the lack of it.]

I suppose this is more efficient than quill and ink, but it lacks a certain panache, wouldn't you say? [Being that Westley's not quite certain who he's addressing, best to presume there's someone or another there.]

So, here we are. Not that I can particularly identify who "we" are other than myself, nor am I especially well-versed in where "here" is, but thus the point of my inquiry. [A small, thin smile at his humor, which somehow manages to come off as less self-congratulatory and more charming.] Perhaps someone might be so kind as to share whatever they feel is relevant to a relative newcomer.

Oh, and I nearly forgot.

[He didn't, but best to come off casual about this specific area.]

If anyone can point me toward a blacksmith, that would be quite helpful.

I'm currently in the aptly decorated Water Sector, WA-D1. I should appreciate it very much, seeing as trying to find my own way anywhere has the high probability of being a large disaster.

[It feels odd, admittedly, to be inviting a beautiful and charming woman over, but it's strictly business of course.]

[And with that, he fumbles half a second before successfully disconnecting. Realizing too late that his tattered shirt won't do at all and secondly that he has no other alternative save a makeshift shirt made haphazardly from the drapes, Westley resigns himself to an inappropriate appearance.]

[He answers just as promptly, opening the door with a measured ease and waving her inside.]

Forgive my appearance; I was caught at quite the inconvenient time. [Or incredibly convenient, depending on how one chooses to see it. Truly, it's only his shirt that's a mess, torn and sullied from his encounter with a hostile rodent with the size and temperament of a jungle cat, but it merits an apology.]

You're recently arrived, I suppose I can excuse it. [ Her eyes twinkle in amusement as she speaks, and as she steps inside she hides a bit of a smile. ]

[He makes note of the glint in her eyes as he turns to shut the door behind her. At least she's taken no offense.] My thanks. If you hadn't, I suppose I would been forced to tear some pillowcases asunder, and the effect would likely have been no better for the efforts. [He's a decent seamstress, forced of necessity to make his own clothing for years, but he always had a bare minimum standard that a few torn bits of bedclothes would fall far short of meeting.]

After you. [He gestures toward his... device, offering her the lone chair at the console.] I admit it's quiet beyond anything we have back where I typically lay my head. Even the King wouldn't have something as fine as this.
