It's come to my attention that I, uh... have some catching up to do.
I'm looking for anyone with experience in the medical profession past the year 1790 that would be willing to bring me up to speed, in a way. As this would be a great favor to ask, I am of course willing to compensate through the exchange of knowledge or... something else, should that not be sufficient.

I've devoted my life to science. Any personal gain I get from furthering my skills as a surgeon would certainly benefit others first and foremost, but I fail to see the fault in that.
