video;

[ Okay. He has practiced answering other people's transmissions. The machines, however foreign, are no longer a complete mystery to him and this really can't wait any longer. He's been too lax as is, really.

Still, there is an awkward stiffness to the way he addresses the network. All too aware that he's being watched and maybe he should've gone for voice, but that lacks a connection between people instead. You people and your technowonders. ]

It's come to my attention that I, uh... have some catching up to do.

I'm looking for anyone with experience in the medical profession past the year 1790 that would be willing to bring me up to speed, in a way. As this would be a great favor to ask, I am of course willing to compensate through the exchange of knowledge or... something else, should that not be sufficient.

It was...bizarre is as good a word as any I could use.

[And compared to what he's learned from Marius,and what he suspects Marius's motivations are now? Yes, that word seems to suit him best as all.]

Dare I ask what you have learned then, if you would care to share it?

Ah yes, I do see what you mean. The consoles are a bit much for me already. Learning of medical changes must be very...overwhelming. But still possible to catch up with bit by bit I would suppose. After all, they still train doctors today, yes?

Neurology...the study of the brain, correct? I do not know much myself, though I have heard the term. It would certainly be a new approach if that might actually be mapped and understood.

[And perhaps help some people who are said to be mad, instead of simply locking them in asylums and basements, or leaving them to the street certainly. And Enjolras has seen enough people who have developed a so called "madness" as a result of living on the streets and the effects of that.]

It sounds so filled with hope!

The idea of such is absolutely amazing. If even the mind can be tapped and touched... Though Combeferre is likely to know more than I of this. I really must get to arranging things!
